Not a good experience. Better options in the area.

I had high expectations for Jada Winery, but my visit left me thoroughly disappointed. The lack of attention from the staff was immediately apparent. Despite having a reservation, we were left waiting for over 20 minutes. That’s when we learned the tree house reservation we had wasn’t available.

The wine itself did not redeem the visit. Each pour was underwhelming. The whole experience was frustrating. I do not recommend.

We had a reservation in the “tree house” and when asked about our reservation they hostess just spoke loudly over us and kept telling us that’s not correct even though we had it in writing. We tried to give the wine a chance even after the initial introduction to the winery, however the wine was literally the worst we have had in the SLO region. Would NOT recommend. The winery also needs to make sure the person greeting isn’t confrontational and fake.

Amongst 300 options - pick Jada! We had the most lovely afternoon here enjoying their tasting menu. It was a busy holiday Monday but Eric managed the room with ease and made our first time at Jada as perfect as can be! You can’t beat the views, the tree house vibes and of course, the delicious wines. Put this at the top of your Paso list!

Our family of six was extremely disappointed by our visit to Jada’s tasting room. After a day in Morro Bay, we detoured to taste Jada’s wines, based on a San Antonio Winery manager’s recommendation. Arriving 1 hour and 25 minutes before closing, we were shocked to be turned away because we didn’t have a reservation.

The staff offered an apology, but it felt insincere, as if our inconvenience didn’t matter. With four kids in tow, this detour was a significant effort, and being brushed off left us feeling unwelcome—possibly because we were a family. This soured our wine-tasting weekend, wasting our time and money. Clearer communication about reservations or genuine hospitality would have made a difference. Unfortunately, we won’t return or recommend Jada after this frustrating experience.

Did the wine and cheese pairing at Jada wines and it was fantastic!
Great selection of wines and really well curated cheese/charcuterie platter. Reasonably priced tasting and pairing. Eric was our Tasting room host and he did an excellent job of taking us through the history of the vineyard and answered a lot of technical questions!
Such great views of the vineyard especially on a nice sunny day.

We found this place and glad we did. Located along a beautiful road. I appreciated the history of the winery during our tasting. Our host Azlan pored us some great wines along with great stories. Very beautiful grounds and views. We added the charcuterie pairing to our tasting, excellent! Looking forward to visiting again in future.

Wine was okay, service was poor, understood why the tasting was $25 and had availability on a Saturday afternoon.

Top notch. Wine education inspiring about the cardiac surgeon owner. Beautiful views. Wines A-1. Substantial testing. Charcuterie board with wine tasting sublime. Thank you !

Nice tasting room, kid and dog friendly. They even have a treat bag for the kids. There’s a nice view over the hills and the service is attentive.

Alas, I did not like their wines at all. Very big and ripe. For example, they have a “Cote Rotie” styled Syrah but it’s not really similar at all. It has the same grape varieties but Cote Rotie is cool climate and the Syrah in this wine was definitely warm climate Syrah from the estate. Much too over the top to claim to be Cote Rotie-like.

A total surprise! While not every wine "hit" (but really, who's does?), the few that did were solid and the craft was evident in the tasting notes. We had reservations, but the place was packed, and yet we could tell that the staff was doing everything they could to make sure we felt important as guests. The grounds are lovely and the guide was very knowledgeable without overstating his acumen (hard to do in the wine biz I think). I only bought one of the reds we tasted since it was more elegant and rounded of the group, but it was solid enough that I would definitely go back in future years to see what their harvests are like.
