We are so glad we chose Justin's for our first dinner in PR. Our wait staff were friendly and knowledgeable. They help us in selecting our food and wine. It was an all round fabulous experience.

Shame on Justin wines. We were passing by at around 730pm and wanted to have a glass of wine before dinner at LPC. The place had quite a few customers, but were closing at 8 pm. We were told that they have other reservations and no tables available, when it was clearly at least 3 tables free at that moment. What a disappointing experience, rude staff with awful customer service skills, denying service, and lying through their teeth. We just turned around and left.I would never support a business with such bad customer service ethics.

Our original reservation was for 7:30pm for 7 people on February 2, 2024. We called and made changes for 5 people because 2 people from our party can’t make it. When we got there, the host told us that we can check and see if we could see you 5 people. Okay we just kinda look at each other in our party and let it slide. Then as soon as we sat down the server had already made up his mind with our party. It seems like we were bothering him. One of our friend who is having a birthday ordered a flight for $80 and the rest just got a bottle to enjoy the wine (well we thought it was going to be fun). The server didn’t even bother explaining the wine to our friend and he look so bothered by us coming there. The ambiance of this place is like going to a nail salon and the service was horrible. I would recommend going to Draecenas about 4 blocked from this horrible place. I do not recommend this place. Horrible!!!

We were really looking forward to coming here and sad we had such an awful experience. From the moment we walked in the atmosphere and vibe was not welcoming. The hostess was a bit annoyed we had less people than originally reserved even though we called to adjust the seat count. But our server was the just cherry on top. He was disengaged and standoffish from the moment we sat down. We had questions that he just ignored and didn’t explain any of the wines during our flight and seemed he wanted nothing to do with us or anyone for that matter. It really ruined our experience. This is an overpriced sub par establishment and you are better off pretty much anywhere else than here. Like wine just because it’s expensive doesn’t mean it’s good. I hope that server can take a nap or renew his Zoloft prescription before heading back to work.

In my opinion you CAN NOT visit Paso without going to the Justin downtown. The atmosphere is perfect for a casual afternoon with your wife or husband and can also double as a very romantic date. The service is always top tier, we’ve only been a few times but we’ve never felt like we were treated bad. Staff is very attentive and helps guide you through the tasting without making you feel dumb or like you shouldn’t be there hahaha. The chocolate pairing is insanely delicious, I still have never had chocolate as good to this day. The wine is our favorite, and you get good discounts when visiting the store in person. Over all anybody in Paso must come down and give their tasting room a try

Our first stop in Paso Robles is always Justin downtown tasting room. This is my favorite spot The food, drink and ambience never disappoints. Baked Brie, truffle fries and some rosè, yes please!

We are Isosceles Reserve Justin members and have been members for over 10 years and decided we wanted to do a drop in for a tasting at the Downtown locations. We have never been treated so poorly by a hostess who was just plain rude. We were told we needed a reservation so we made a reservation as soon as she said that and we showed the confirmation and she still denied us. We went to a different winery after and ran into a group that had a similar experience.

Very frustrating experience. We arrived without a reservation, but just as this opened. 5 of us were shoved in a small booth, which was ok. But given the lack of traffic (including no new customers between our arrival and departure), this was too bad. We were then told the server would not be able to do a tasting for us since there were two people “in Front of us.” Pretty sure he could have handled it. Given that he was sitting down behind the bar for most of our visit. Anyway, we had a couple glasses of nice wine. There was no food available, even snacks, and we left. Great wine and terrible and really rude service. We were pretty excited to take home a couple bottles or join their club. We did neither. I’d avoid this place even if you find other venues for their nice wine.

The tasting room is centrally located downtown, which is a plus. The negatives: very very loud, crazy bright lighting like a medical exam room, fast tastings almost felt rushed. Pros: Chase is a great waiter. Food is very good ( mushroom flatbread and Brussels). Wines are tasty but expensive.
