We did a cave tour but did not stay in one of their rooms. The tour was nice and informative. The wine was good enough that we bought a case.Food & drinks: Try the cave tour

Great wine. Horrible experience. We arrived at the time of our reservation very excited about what was coming. The host (manager) right at the entrance ruined our day from the beginning. He asked if we had a reservation, I said yes, we are 12 people (6 kids and 6 adults) and I made 2 reservations of 6 each ( that is the limit I saw on the website) - they are both under my name. The first thing he had to inform me is that if I use my name for both reservations the second reservation gets canceled automatically. I showed him the 2 confirmation emails I received and he said the rule should be in fine print somewhere. Then, in his pretentious snobby tone, he told us he was going to accommodate us anyway. However, we had to seat us in two different tables (6 per table) kids could not be alone, so the adults had to split-up on two opposite sides of the venue. I am laughing now. We tried to ask if we would be closer at least a table next to the other. "I am sorry it is what I have" he said. The place was basically empty and during the 2 hours we were there never got full, never even half way full. I have to add 5 of the kids ages ranged between 14 and 10, and the 6th kid 7yo. Mostly girls. I am trying to say they were not crazy toddlers that we were trying to request being left alone at a different table. Besides when we decided to do wine tasting at Justin winery, we saw the nice grass area at the end of the seating area. We could totally imagine being seated by that area while the kids are not trapped at a table all the way inside. I frankly think the host/manager didn't want us there from the beginning. It was my only explanation to understand his behavior. If they don't allow kids they should put it front and center when you make your reservation. I have to add that I called before I made my online reservations. The lady on the phone never advised me against bringing kids. When I told her we were 6 kids and 6 adults, she said I would do 2 reservations of 6 each. But she never mentioned hey they will split you. One of our friend's birthday celebration was the occasion. We spent the first 30 minutes trying to convince the host and then requested the waiters to be seated closer together. It crossed our minds to just leave the place. We already drove all the way there and decided to stay. At the end we took beautiful pictures and had some good memories together however deep down you have that taste of "why"?! Why something that should have been an amazing experience had to end up reduced to this?!

I have no words at the phenomenal service, food or wine at this place! This was the first time I went to wine taste and was pleasantly surprised how they do it. You get to sit at the patio with a food menu and can opt for the premium or regular tasting flights. I wished I snapped a pic of the food menu. Either way everything we had was beautifully curated and tasty down to the last bite. We will be stopping in here again especially to buy more wine. One day I hope to stay at the Inn there. The ambiance is unmatched and so fresh!

We stopped here on our winery tour of Paso Robles. The wine selections were quite nice. I had had Justin wines in nice restaurants before. It was nice to taste all the options of the winery. We like the so much we shipped stuff home.

I love the food (available on Thursday - Monday) and every tasting from the classic wine flight was a winner. The burger and the truffle fries seem to be a fabulous staple as they have been here on past visits. Heads up: The appetizer portion of the fries is more than generous; the gooey melted cheese with hints of truffle and garlic is addictive and worthy upgrade if you do the burger. Speaking of the burger, it is juicy and solid. My fiancé added avocado but it was so yummy and flavorful because of the Brie cheese that it was not needed. I ordered the chicken pot pie and it was perfect for the cold rainy day. I follow the school of thought that the pot pies need to shine with warm, delicious innards; the crust should be yummy and crispy as a good way to add texture. Justin's pot pie was perfection in this regard. The balance between veggies and chicken was nice and the sauce herby. It's not always on the menu but I will definitely hope it is when I return. As for the wine, you can't go wrong with any option here, but the Right Angle is the best overall. Service is super nice and attentive. We went once on an earlier weekday and while the kitchen was closed, they were kind of enough to offer the cheese and charcuterie plate. It was impressive, filling, and worthy of its heavier price tag. I also love how dog friendly they are; it's nice to be able to include your pup on vacation (they are very people friendly too and that makes you feel very welcomed). We relaxed on the covered patio. It was a rainy day but it was still lovely as there were heaters and the patio was lively with other guests. A perfect lunch.

Excellent experience! Grandparents have been twice and had a blast! The wine caves are amazing and if you go ask for Vernon he knows just about everything there is to know about Justin. The whole ambience was great and beautiful views. The hamburgers are delicious and the service is excellent. Staff is super attentive and friendly.

Great quality wines, especially the Cabernet Sauvignon. Picturesque scenery. You can purchase nuts or chocolate, but can also make a specific reservation to include lunch too if you want a meal. Make reservations ahead of time. Friendly

Justin was known for their first time going to competition with the Isosceles Wine and put Paso Robles on the Cabernet Sauvignon map (per the waiter that served us). We tried out their flight (and you can share it if you're winery hopping) along with a charcuterie board. There's not much of a view nor much to learn from. While the cheese and spreads were good, the waiter wasn't very interactive and we didn't feel it represented what we thought Justin was about. Also, it is very expensive compared to the other wineries in the area for subpar service and atmosphere. Also, only the Isosceles was good, all the other wines were quite flat. Their restaurant also have a Michelin star but you would need to make a reservation way early to be able to try it.

We had a surprise lunch for my husband's 70th which was nearly ruined by the host who proceeded to argue with me that is wasn't a surprise yet my husband was walking in right behind me.The meal and tasting was nowhere near the quality I expected for more than $7K for 18 ppl. Do the math and that's $400+ per person.I was also quite appalled at how various employees were treated. You can cut the tension with a knife. We have some of the original Justin wines and have to say the newer wines don't hold a candle to them.Won't recommend Justin to anyone who asks a local like me.
