The place is really authentic and food is delicious but service is not so good unfortunately. The lady at the bar took our order: one fajita to share and two chicken quesadillas for kids. Then she brought only one cheese quesadilla, one fajita plate (no plates to share), but 8 sets of utensils. Very disappointed with that quality of service.

This place could be so much better. They have a cool young guy with not the best attitude, probably because it was the only server for the whole place. The water, you could taste the chlorine on it. Like seriously bad. Food came after 30min. The beans had the same strong chlorine flavor. I could not eat anything.I feel bad to give them this review because I know this could be so much better. I hope they take my comments into consideration.

Ask for their hot sauce! It's a hot chili oil. So good! Highly recommend.

I like it here, but it's missing something here in the ambience, food was great though.

We stopped by this small Mom & Pop restaurant on NYR for dinner, but they had stopping seating as it was almost closing time. They allowed us to order to go and we sat at the bar for a drink while waiting for our food. We got to talking to one of the owners, so friendly and great convo. Our food came out and she let us eat our to-go order at the bar even though they were closed. I'm super picky about Mexican food and this place did not disappoint. I ordered the flautas con papa plate and everything was delicious. My friends had the tacos and we all cleared our plates. The food was THAT GOOD. Definitely will go back when I'm in town again.

My family walked in as a group of 11 and we were refused seating. So sad. We would have given very good business. I will not even consider this restaurant next time we come to town.

The restaurant had such great reviews, so we stopped by on our way through town. I think today may have been off. They had 1 server for the entire restaurant at 1. There was no way he could keep up with the tables. We didn't get our drinks for 15 to 20 minutes after ordering. The chips are hard and the salsa was watery. The rice and beans were bland. My asada taco meat was dry and chicken enchilada was ok. My husband had the molcajete and thought it was flavorful but the beef was tough. He has had better but thought it was ok. The margarita was way too sweet. I think a different day and time we would have had a better experience .....

This place was delicious! The food was amazing. I got the tacos one chicken and one carnitas with rice and beans. The salsas are very good and the chips. My boyfriend got the chicken mole which he said was also excellent. We'd definitely go back!

My husband and I were driving through and saw the reviews. So we thought we would go to Las Kalaveras. Both of us had the Molé. It was as expected, very good.

Way better than expected. Instead of going where I intended I had to find something quick before my BIL and the kids arrived. I am so glad I did! The array of sauces were great and the tacos were sooo good. I just wish I had an extra tortilla or fork to eat the bits that fell out.

Was hungry after a leisurely wine tasting @ Chronic. Another couple there suggested we try Finca, but when I looked at their menu, it looked very limited. SoLas Kalaveras popped up and the reviews were pretty high. Hubby ordered the mole which was a bit on the sweet side. They made it with shredded chicken , rather than whole pieces of chicken which is what our family is accustomed to eating. I ordered the carnitas which were pretty average. Both our plates came with rice and beans, which were a bit runny. The homemade corn tortillas were very good, the meal, ok.
