The small plate rack of lamb was excellent. My three dinner companions had three different entrees and all raved about their meals. The cauliflower and plantain appetizers were also a big hit.
We found a great older bottle of Pinot on the wine list, so started with that. Out food was excellent- we shared ceviche, a potato dish, and a Peruvian roll. All of the food was amazingly fresh and flavorful. The entire meal was terrific. Highly recommend!
Delicious cocktails and ceviche. The main courses are just average. The staffs and the ambiance are great.
We had a great time, our waiter was excellent, he knew the dishes and was able to make excellent recommendations 😎
The food was always delicious. That's the highlight. I really think one of those two tops needs to be pulled away from the Ben area. It's just too tight. It says that you're having a conversation with the person sitting next to you. I had also specifically requested to potentially sit in the bench area, but in a non-tight place because I have a back issue and I'm not very mobile and got specifically seated in a very tight area it as though the hostess didn't even read the request. I do understand this is a third-party app but that's gonna be overlooked but it seems like there's a lot of help on Saturday evening so that was a bummer. I've eaten here several times not always with a reservation through this app, but I bring people here from out of town. I bring colleagues here and I just really hoped for a more special intimate moment with my daughter that night and yet we were fully speaking to people on both sides of the table. Food was as always amazing which is always the highlight.
First and foremost I want to say that I 100% don't believe that my experience at Mistura is a common one, everyone I've spoken to about the restaurant loves the place. Unfortunately we had a server that wasn't very attentive, seemed distracted and just overall wasn't a good server. The food was AMAZING, every other server and manager and even the people that come around to ensure your water is always full were so friendly and made sure to make us feel welcomed. The one and only negative of the restaurant was our server, two managers came to speak with us and were both GREAT, very professional and seemed to genuinely care about us.
Food was pretty good, but felt over priced. We were seated in an odd room right next to the kitchen so there was constant heavy traffic from the wait staff.
Even. Though we had a reservation we were told to wait while others who arrived after us were seated ahead of us. Appetizers were cold when served. We had to ask for our bottle that be corked and to have glasses. Very disappointed!!!!!9
Went to lunch for my friend's birthday celebration, we had two entrees, one soda, the total after tip was $88! The Diet Coke was $10 because she asked for a refill not realizing it would be $5. The food was just ok. The cookies are delicious.
Some of the food was outstanding. Other dishes less so. Wait staff was terrific. I did not like the room where we were sat, but other spaces are far more prepossessing.

What a fabulous experience at Mistura! The food was spectacular in taste, presentation and portion size. Old friends came to town that we had previously visited Peru with and I wanted to reminisce together about our epic travels while enjoying a Peruvian dinner. Dinner was so much fun and we were so completely happy and satisfied. Our server Mia was so friendly and knowledgeable. We enjoyed a mix of seafood, ceviche's, appetizers, steaks, and of course finished with phenomenal desserts. I would give this restaurant 6 ⭐️
My favorite restaurant in SLO. The ceviche is to die for. Everything is great. Perfect cocktails, amazing service, and best food I've ever had.
We had a lovely time with friends and our waiter was wonderful. The food was good enough but quite expensive and overpriced for how it tastes and what it is. 6 oysters, one app, 4 entrees and 8 drinks for 4 people cost $500 + tip ($600). For that price I'd expect a higher caliber of cuisine. For that reason, I won't go back as there are other yummy restaurants in the area, but I'm glad I tried it.
We had a fabulous time at Mistura for my husband's birthday dinner! The food was amazing - so authentic, high quality and simply delicious. Everyone at the table enjoyed their meals. We also had a series of appetitizers that were awesome - my personal favorites were the plantains, gyoza and steak bites. We also ordered literaly every dessert on the menu - the custard was light, delicate and delicioys. The key lime and apple tarts were yummy and the chocolate offerings did not disappoint. All in all a terrific evening! We wold highly tecommend Mistura! Definitely going back soon!
OMG!! The food here was excellent! The ambience was great! They had such a great selection of different kinds of food. Foods I've never tried before that had such a great taste and such a great spice to it and flavor. I would highly recommend this restaurant. We will be back often.
