First time diners for a 2 birthdays celebration dinner. Started with the Rompe Niels ceviche appetizer which was a wonderfully mango-flavored ceviche and the Colorao cauliflower bbq flavored appetizer. We continued with the De Mi Tierra salad which was wonderfully fresh with crunchy quinoa and heirloom tomatoes. We shared the seafood paella between 4 to round out our dinner, and then enjoyed 5 - yes 5 - small desserts. They have reasonable corkage fee which worked for several of our favorite wines. We saw many additional meat and fish entrees as well as some tasty looking sushi and sashimi rolls at their Peruvian- Japanese fusion restaurant that will certainly bring us back for future lunches and dinners!

It took almost 10 minutes for the server to approach our table. He brought our water, and it took 30 minutes for us to get anything else. He brought us our first dish, but still hadn't brought our drinks . There was hardly anyone in the restaurant, so I'm not sure what was going on. Otherwise, the food and ambience was fantastic!

Mia was our server and she was fantastic. The food was surprisingly enjoyable. We aren't familiar with Peruvian food and the experience at Mistura made us want to come back and possibly travel to Peru! So thank you

Always great food and usually wonderful service. But this time, it was apparent that servers have been trained to clear and turn the table quickly. We had 3 shared appetizers and one shared main and drinks and dessert. Every course was delicious but if we dared take time to converse or enjoy each bite, someone would swoop in and try to take our plates. We had 4 different people try to take the main course that we had between us and were enjoying. In fact, one person laughed when we said we weren't ready to give up our plate. "one little tomato", she laughed. I mean, we were so happy to relax and catch up and it was difficult to finish a thought. When I checked my watch, only one hour had passed. Please don't make guests feel like they are lingering too long - let them savor your beautiful food!

This is known as a Peruvian restaurant so we were anxious to try it. Everything about this restaurant exceeded any expectations! Being locals in the county, we were eager to try a restaurant we had never been to before. The waitress was very engaging, knowledgeable and helpful. The food was over the top... wonderful presentation, flavor beyond words and delicious in every way! We were five people, talking and laughing ... great acoustics. In our little corner of the expansive restaurant. We could converse comfortably. The desserts were something I've never experienced in this area before. Unique, delightfully artistic and delicious as well. I think that this fine dining restaurant would appeal to most anyone!

What an amazing selection on the menu! Party of four and we selected about 10 different applies. Fabulous way to learn a new food culture. Beautifully presented. Awesome tastes. Great food experience.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the ambience of the restaurant. Our server, Rory, was very attentive and took the time to thoroughly explain the menu to us. Our dishes were so flavorful and prepared with high quality ingredients. Mistura just became my favorite restaurant in SLO!

Amazing food, very unique options. Everything we tried was delicious. Service was good. Prices were not cheap, but we're also on par for similar items in similar restaurants. Will eat here again for sure!

This was my first time to eat at Mistura, so I wanted to try some of the more traditional Peruvian food, which started with a Pisco Sour. That was a lot of fun (IYKYK). There is so much to choose from the menu, and the dishes are fairly substantial, so upon the recommendation of the waiter, I got one appetizer and one entree. That was more than enough food! I came to the conclusion that typical Peruvian food is a little heavy for my liking, though it tasted very good. The octopus was excellent...very tender and wonderful flavor with the tasty and different way to combine couscous and potato. The waiter was excellent, very attentive, but not overly so. He helped advise on the food and drinks. Since it was my birthday, he frequently wished me a happy birthday and brought a special birthday treat at the end. It was a very special meal, and I will definitely go back.

My boyfriend and I went to dinner here on Valentine's Day and it was an amazing experience, from the service to the food. You can tell this restaurant had put meaning into everything. We will definitely be coming back. Would 10/10 recommend.

This is without doubt one of the top places I have eaten at. Impeccable service, amazing food and wonderful presentation. The cocktails are amazing as well (try the Pisco Sour). Oh, and the desserts are a work of art. If you're in the area make this one of your stops. You won't be disappointed.

We loved coming here for a few years, but the quality was not the same this time. The ahi tuna was very tough and hard to chew. The meat in the Señor Lomo was overcooked and the potatoes tasted like frozen french fries. The service used to feel much more inviting and personable. But this time, the experience didn't feel worth it for the price.

We were very pleased with our experience at Mistura. Everything we tasted was delicious. The service provided was great and overall the experience was fantastic. A great value for the money spent. We are already planning a return trip.

Absolutely fantastic. The service was great (shout out to Joseph for the great recommendations) and the food was absolutely amazing. One tip - bring the whole crew so you can try more dishes and have an amazing evening.

This restaurant is truly unique. The decor, menu and desserts you won't find on the Central coast. Server was charming, explained the menu which is helpful since many of the items are uncommon. The Pismo sours(cocktails), tasty and potent. Appetizers and entrees delicious.
