By 9am room service tried twice to get into my room to clean. In one of the instances, there was no knock and they simply put the card in and accessed my room with no announcement. I will not be returning this hotel.

A small but nice hotel, everyone was friendly and the service was excelent! From the front desk to the bartender. Rooms are nice and clean. Will definitely stay there next time I am in the area.

Heads up - this is a hotel restaurant! They had 1 server for 50 people. He was as good as he could be but way understaffed. I did our tables’ drink and food order. The food was good, but we won’t be going back.

Probably won't be coming back to stay with Oxford Suites in Paso Robles. Will list the reasons why we would come back and the reasons why we would not. Unfortunately, the reasons why not outweigh the reasons why yes. The Good: 1. Hotel is newer and clean. 2. Free breakfast in the morning and social in the evening. 3. Great location, right next to the highway and walking distance to several restaurants. 4. Very quiet, can't hear neighbors, the highway or the train. 5. Pet friendly and there are a lot of animals on the property at a given time The Bad: 1. Poor service, mostly because they are understaffed. They only do room refresh if you stay 3 days or longer. 2. Late check in of 4PM (other hotels usually are 3PM) and early check out of 11AM (others usually 12PM). They don't accommodate late checks out even for a very short time and will charge for it. 3. There is only a single elevator for all of their guests in the entire facility. And there are no stairs that you can use, except for emergency. As a result, the single act of going of going up or down takes quite a long time, coupled with the fact that it literally stops at every floor. 4. Breakfast is meager consisting of 4 or 5 items only and they run out very quickly. It is open from 7-10AM, but if you go after 8:30AM, you will find that most items have run out already. Also there is only a server and he retorts to screaming when your order is ready instead of walking the dish over to your table. Understandable as they are short handed, but it gets loud. 5. Evening social is not run well at all. The single bartender acts as both drink server and also waiter again. They give you a single appetizer of their choice, which is nothing special. 6. Rooms are really barebones. There is no closet; instead there is this open box with hangers and a single drawer at the bottom. 7. Overall get the feeling that employees are stretched and stressed because they can't handle the volume of customers at a given time, so they are curt and not very friendly at times.

It's a beautiful hotel in a very convenient location, but marred by poor service. I stayed here in December with my pup. This is a very dog-friendly place; I saw at least a dozen different doggies here, ranging from screechy hamster-sized to noble Great Dane, but, as you already know, none were prettier than my Wee Baby Ava. My room had a mini-kitchen complete with stovetop, which I never used. The full-sized fridge was nice, for sometimes in wine country you just want a beer. The room itself was super well maintained, with nary a scuff mark nor former occupant's hair to be found within. I either got a not-usually-dog-friendly room, or they clean really, really well between canines. This was much unlike the next hotel I stayed at; Sideways Inn Buellton, I'm talkin bout you. The furnishings were whimsical without being tacky, and the chairs around the small dining table, if you look closely enough, have a fabric pattern made out of dad jokes. You know what you call a boomerang that doesn't come back? Well, now you do: it's called a stick. And you know what else doesn't come back? A guest who had to deal with: Housekeeping, or lack thereof. I'd asked 3 times for housekeeping on the second day here and didn't get any. There's a $39 per night pet fee which is supposed to include daily housekeeping -- see pic. I confirmed it on check-in, re-requested on my way out in the morning, and returned after dark to find my wet towels and breakfast dishes. The front desk dispatched a non-housekeeping employee to do a rudimentary job. The same exact thing happened the next day. Breakfast: It's complimentary, and sparse after 8AM. One day there were half hour waits for omlettes, no more bagels, no more sausage, and no more juice glasses, which quickly led to no more coffee cups. Day two again featured lengthy waits for anything fresh-made, but at least there was breakfast meat and one bagel, with the daily shortage being forks. Getting around: There is only one elevator for this whole five-story hotel, including service employees. The only stairs lead to the exterior. Budget your time accordingly. Reminding guests to clean up after their dogs: There empty fields on two sides of the hotel, which are heavily mined the closer you get to the hotel. Ewww. Straighten a few things out, Oxford: resolve the housekeeper, cook, conveyance, and utensil shortages, and you might have a repeat customer.

Our stay at Oxford Suites was outstanding! The hotel is super clean and looks new, and the service we received was everything we could've hoped for. We were pleasantly surprised to find out breakfast is free and that each guest who books through the hotel website directly receives free drinks and appetizers at the hotel lobby bar. Not only that, but we were also happy to find out there is a free shuttle service provided by the hotel that could take us anywhere within a 6 mile radius from the hotel. Thank you to Jeff, the driver who dropped us off, for all of your knowledgeable tips about Paso Robles and for the amazing service! All of the staff were incredibly welcoming and kind. We would recommend this hotel time and time again!

This is a great find! The room was clean, modern, and very spacious and the same is true for the bathroom. You had both a standalone shower and a separate bathtub. The amenities were great - breakfast and happy hour included. There was also a free shuttle for any place within a 5 mile radius. Everyone was friendly and very helpful. Best of all, this place is super dog friendly. And if you have an EV, there are three charging stations. The proximity to downtown is wonderful too! You get a lot of great value and convenience here. When we come back to Paso Robles, we'll be staying here again.

We stayed here while attending a wedding. It is a fantastic place from start to finish! The staff is so welcoming and helpful. The rooms are tastefully designed and comfortable. The bar and restaurant were amazing with both the service and food. I will definitely be staying here again!

Wow! What an amazing value this place is. The rooms are incredibly spacious. It was great for our family of three, we swiveled the couch and gave our toddler their own "room" within a room. The bathtubs are HUGE and inviting, sauna, hot tub/pool are well maintained. Free breakfast, more than your basic continental - there is an omelette bar. Evening reception with apps and drinks. We feel spoiled! The beds were decent, the room felt very clean. I like to rate hotels by what the bottom of our feel look like after walking around and this place passed the test. This hotel is wonderful for families looking for a fun weekend in the area. If you have an older kid, one could be on the couch and one in a toddler blow up bed like ours. So much space. The staff were friendly and helpful. This is a great place for not only Paso Robles, but also San Louis Obispo county in general - 30min to Morro Bay and you can have a beach day. 30 min to SLO. We were very pleased. Thanks so much for a great stay! We will for sure be back.

The beds were comfortable, the room and bathroom clean and spacious. The included breakfast was good with lots of options (sausage, waffles, eggs, fruit, cereal, muffins &!toast etc). The coffee was good with flavored creamer options- which I always appreciate. The included appetizer was a handful of chips & bit of salsa. I ordered an actual appetizer but wasn't impressed with the potato skins. There was some kind of police activity right before we left but it seemed to be handled quickly.

Great accommodations--comfy bed, quiet, clean rooms--always stay here and very happy with service from check in staff to housekeeping and everything in between. Complimentary breakfast buffet every morning with made to order egg omelettes and happy hour drink and appetizer every evening when you return from your busy day touring around Paso. Thank you to the amazing staff who make our stay very memorable.

I have no complaints about the hotel room, the place. The hotel is great and clean. I just have a complain about the server at the bistro named Carlie. We felt discriminated upon, she serves people that came after us on our first night. Then again on our 2nd day we decided to have dinner at the hotels bistro and Carlie again was the order taker, again she serves people that came after us, took her awhile to take our orders but all she did was talk talk talk instead of taking our orders.

We've stayed here three times now and just love The Oxford Suites. The employees are wonderful, the hotel is clean and comfortable. They have a free breakfast and at night there are free coupons for 2 drinks and 2 appetizers. The appetizers have been really terrific. Oxford Suites is also located along the freeway, but quiet and is close to town. I know this sounds a bit like an advertisement, but this hotel is a place that I would return to. My only complaint is that I think they have one of the slowest elevators that I have ever encountered, my solution is to just take the stairs.

Our experience was very pleasant the staff was very friendly and helpful. The evening reception along with breakfast makes Oxford Suites a good value. We will be recommending a future stay with our friends and family.

I stayed there due to having to work nearby. The hotel was clean, and the bartender was awesome! Breakfast was delicious! I enjoyed that they give you drink ticket/appetizer as well as free breakfast. Coffee wasn't too bad either. My room was a nice size. I loved having the bathtub separate from the showers. Awesome Place!
