Wonderful people, wonderful food, excellent service. They are really engaged with the community and support a lot of fabulous boutique wineries.
Not only do they have excellent food, but they have (what I'd consider) one of the best wine club memberships in the area. You'll get a sample set of their favorite wines that you'd likely never have tried if you hadn't signed up with their shipments.
If you are in the area, do not pass up a meal and a conversation with Justin, Julie and team!!

Not a great selection of wines, better to go to a winery where you can learn about the wines.
My friend and I had the best time at the Wine Merchant. The layout of the restaurants gives that market atmosphere. Pretty cool. Everyone was so friendly and knowledgeable about the food menus and gave great recommendations. I will definitely stop by during my next trip to Paso Robles.
Parking: There are limited parking spots behind the restaurant, but there is a gravel lot next to it. Also there is street parking as well.

Called from out of state to arrange for a wine delivery to a friend. They went above and beyond. Couldn’t say enough about their kindness and service!!

My wife and I had a great lunch today, and the mushroom toast was fabulous. Our server was very knowledgeable of both the menu and local wineries. She told us about some of the more unusual wines in the area, as well as the sources of ingredients for the meal.To top it off, the Chef was kind enough to come out and share the mushroom toast recipe! It's bistro atmosphere, thus the 4 stars. If you are looking for an informal environment, great food and attentive service, this is the place for you!

The food is delicious, the ingredients are locally sourced, fresh and seasonal. Best wine selection in town. The bottle shop features some wines you can’t find elsewhere. If you haven’t been, go!!
