Amazing authentic food! Wonderful owners

6/4/2023 4 Hermanos no longer exists. It is now Don Joses Mexican Grill. The prices looked good until we got our food. A tostada was on a flat tortilla with meat that was fair dumped on lettuce. My burrito was meat on a flour tortilla. Chips were overcooked old tortillas. I will never be back.

Really love this place. Consistently great food. If you're a spice wimp, avoid the pepper they give you on your plate haha

I wanted to try somewhere new for Mexican lunch take-out so just randomly picked this place since I had to hit the post office across the street. I ordered a two taco combo plates with one Al Pastor and one chicken. They come with beans and rice. Separately the beans and rice are kind of bland and the beans quite watery, but together with a little Tapatio they were pretty good. Chicken taco was good but the Al Pastor was pretty killer. Lots of meat, very flavorful and simple with just tomatoes and onions. In the future, I'll get a couple of the Al Pastor tacos and skip the sides. Took about 15 minutes - cooked to order. Very nice gentleman working the register. The restaurant itself seemed very clean and there's plenty of free parking.

To busy talking to friends rather then serving the customer. Won't make the same mistake again.

P probably the worst Mexican food I've ever eaten. Ordered cheese enchiladas not edible at all.

This felt like a real family style Mexican restaurant. If you're looking for over the top perfection this might not be for you. This place is quirky and delicious. First off they gave us the wrong order but in reality it was an upgrade. We ordered an al pastor burrito and asked for it to be cut in half for two. The sweet man at the counter was kind and generous enough to bring us two made plates for half a burrito. What we got was a carnita burrito that melted in our mouths. Unfortunately I had to ask for a fork because I was given two knives and no fork. Almost busted out laughing when he offered me a third knife. I kindly declined and went back to devour my meal. It's seems as if Tia went out and left poor Tio in charge. Regardless 5 out of 5

We went back here for dinner a day after because I kept thinking their seafood cocktail lol. So this time we order seafood cocktail and Carnitas plate. To my surprise their carnitas tastes so good. If I come back to this area again I would come to order this dish every single time. Seafood cocktail shrimp is pretty fresh, its the taste we are expected so not much of the surprise. Price is good consider how much seafood they used. The only complaint is i don't know Spanish, and it took me a while to google translate the whole menu lol.

Went here because everyone says how great it is! I was not happy at all they gave me some carne asada tacos that where burnt to a crisp. Yuk I couldn't even eat my tacos . Won't be going back here

Ordered chicken enchiladas. Terrible. Gross. Never again. Waist of $20. Still hungry.

It's a humble place. Prices are fair. Portions are big and food is fresh. The chips and salsa are also delicious. I had two tacos (al pastor and carnitas) and I'm stuffed!!! Micheladas are perfect

Whenever I am in Paso Robles this is my "Go To" Mexican restaurant. I especially like their carne asada tostada and burrito. You actually need a knife and fork for the burrito because it's comes stuffed and kind of open, not exactly rolled. They will special order any of their items and or combinations on the menu. The chips and salsa are part of the order at no extra charge, and theirs are home made, as well as the salsa. The staff are super friendly, and it reminds me of stopping by someone's home as opposed to a restaurant. The only reason I would not rate this as five stars is they don't always stay on top of the dishes, and they tend to pile up near the counter and by the restrooms. Four and a half for sure, otherwise if not for dishes 5 Stars all the way! I have been frequenting this place for over 10 years, always Greatttt Food. Definitely going to keep coming back...
