WAY TOO EXPENSIVE!!!! I usually never give a bad review but this place is ridiculous. I paid over $100 for $25 worth of candy. I would understand the high prices if the candy was high quality but it’s regular candy you can buy almost anywhere. Because it’s overpriced, it stays on the shelves longer than it should, making it old and stale.

We stopped into SLO Sweets while exploring Paso Robles and were immediately turned off by both the extremely high prices and the poor quality of the offerings. Everything in the store was sugar-loaded, artificial, and clearly made from the cheapest ultra-processed ingredients.
A single scoop of gelato was $9, and a basic Ramune soda was $8—both at double or even triple the standard retail price. Even simple items like almond chocolate were outrageously marked up. It felt like a tourist trap cashing in on novelty items with no regard for value or health.
This kind of pricing and product lineup explains the store’s existing low ratings, and unfortunately, we agree. It’s not a place we’d recommend—overpriced, unhealthy, and not worth the stop.

Ordered one dozen truffles in a gift box for $60. Wrongly assumed the truffles would be in paper cups and arranged in a box that would hold one dozen. This makes a very poor gift for my hosts. Will drive the further distance to See’s in the future

I paid $8 for a Charleston chew because i was trying to have a nostalgic moment with my kids. they cost $1.57 online and at 7-eleven but it's harder to find the strawberry flavor around town. I left feeling pissed off instead of nostalgic. Never going back to this price gouging store! I was already warned by my kid's dad to never go there after my son racked up a charge of $76 on a conservative handful of items. This store needs to go our of business so a better store with fair prices can use that space.

Very lovely store, had a great experience coming in. Employees were very welcoming and friendly and were willing to help me find things i was looking for. Recommend checking out the store, many selections to choose from. I certainly enjoyed the different selections, store had a little bit of everything for everyone. As a local i find myself coming in pretty frequently and every time it is a pleasant experience!

Such an amazing place to visit with friends and family, loved the gelato and chocolate assortment. It’s very helpful seeing everything individually priced including all the bulk items along the walls! Employees were attentive and kind. Also enjoyed seeing the beautiful decorations displayed around the store.
