I’ve worked in the service industry for 10+ years and also as a barista during that time. If I’m being honest, I am not impressed with the customer service provided at this store.
A family member of mine was treated poorly today by a worker for breaking “the chain” and for not being able to pay for the customer behind them—which keep in mind is an option not mandatory—because they didn’t have their wallet. I myself have had my own unsatisfactory experiences here, but don’t have the time or energy to share unhappy stories. Management, do better, please. The way I see it, you get the respect you give.
We stopped in this Starbucks for breakfast on our way to the northern Cal Coast. We were disappointed however. The bagel was not what I ordered. I asked for the bake to be double- toasted with cream cheese. I also ordered a soy latte’ and extra hot. My wife ordered a cinnamon dolce. We didn’t have time to eat there so we decided to eat on the road. By the time I got to eat the bagel I noticed that was not toasted and kind of doughy. My latte was about 2/3 of a cup full. That is why I always ask for the latte to be made no foam and no room. If the latte is maid with foam most of the drink disappears when you are ready to drink it. So dissatisfied with our experience.

Came in twice over two days. First day: A few girls behind the counter were distracted and gossiping. We waited around 20 minutes for our order even though there was plenty of staff and it wasn’t busy. We had to ask about our order and they made it on the fly. Second day: Very busy time for the staff, coffee was made with some cold foam even though it wasn’t included in our order.
No biggie, some staff may need some extra training and also a reminder that the workplace is not a hangout when it’s not busy. Other than that, the place was clean and food was good.
