The Backyard on Thirteenth

A great family friendly setup with 20+ beers on tap and delicious food to accompany it. With a fenced off area for families and outside games for the kids plus kids sized benches, it made for a fun lunch!

One of the first breweries I've seen to offer a Shrimp PO' Boy, so we had to get that! Fantastic! 🍤🥖🍺

Vegetarian options: Great vegetarian burger and we added chips for $2

Kid-friendliness: Kids benches and tables, giant connect 4 and giant Jenga plus a fenced off area

Came for an election event. My first visit here. I don't drink, so it will probably be a while before I return, but I thought it was a good place to have a small gathering.

Amazing venue with overpriced beer. $8.50 for a craft brew is a bit much even for California!

Wife and I were in Paso Robles for the evening with our dog and wanted somewhere to take her. We walked the main areas, and saw The Backyard.
I really liked the vibe of the "back" of the place, supre cozy yet open, other patrons were fun when I was chatting and in line.

Staff was super welcoming to all 3 of us, and service was great. We got the pup pad for my pooch, and even that was cooked to "just right".
A great selection of foods, beers, and wines.

Next time I have to go down to Paso Robles this will be a definite stop.

Parking: Found a street side about a block away, and grabbed that fast. This was afterall a Saturday night, in Autumn.

Just had an incredible evening at The Backyard on Thirteenth! The atmosphere was vibrant and fun, and the food did not disappoint. I tried the Shrimp PO Boy, which was packed with perfectly cooked shrimp! The lively vibe, combined with a great patio equipped with misters and plenty of seating, made for a wonderful experience. Their beer selection is top-notch, offering something for everyone. Definitely recommend this spot and will be returning soon!
