What a wonderful time! We arrived to the lovely outdoor patio that overlooks the vineyard. Our tasting guide was extremely knowledgeable and shared fables throughout our tasting journey. A bowl of their house made oil, salts & delicious bread was served during our sampling. Each red we tasting was more delightful than the other. We had a hard time narrowing our selection down to 3 bottles! This is a definite must stop when wine tasting in Paso Robles area.
Excellent service
I had recently tried a bottle of the Cabernet on vacation and had to go to the source the next time we were able to go somewhere. The wines are very balanced and drinkable with food. I thoroughly enjoyed all the wines, but took a golden hued wine called the The Milkmaid and her pail. It had great color and ready to enjoy it with some seafood.
Fableist Wines is an amazing, lesser know winery in Templeton, Ca area.
The staff is extremely knowledgeable about the wines and the details that they provide during wine tasting is enlightening. The atmosphere is relaxing and inviting, one of my favorite places to go to. I highly recommend Fableist.
We are not really wine drinkers, but had some time to kill, and googled family friendly wineries. We had the best time at the Fableist, and actually enjoyed the wine. Good price, nice selection, and beautiful tasting room. We will definitely come back!
We had a decent time here, I thought that host didn't have the best attitude, was kind of snotty. I was here with a few friends and I've been here before but it's been a few years. We had a better time the last time we were here. We also thought that the tasting area was kind of dirty, it needed some attention. We'd probably choose another place next time we're in town.
We were the only people there for a tasting, and after over 30 minutes had elapsed between tastings, I went inside to ask if we could have our next wine in the flight. Brandon was on his phone and was frosty the rest of the tasting, and we also felt pressured to buy only the expensive wines (we only paid for the tasting, which we felt was overpriced). We left feeling pretty disappointed, especially after so many good reviews!
Not the best experience, host was rude, wines didn't really impress me. Probably won't be back
What a gem! Christy was fabulous. Loved the wines! Thanks for a great experience!
We went to the Fableist for a wine tasting (we drove by without any reservation). We had an amazing time here - the tasting was very diverse and helped us understand the great variety of wines the winery offers. The view from the terrace is breathtaking and the service was just perfect! We ended up buying their latest white wine, the rosé and the chillable red wine. Being close to 100 USD, the tasting fee of 25 USD was waivered.A couple which came after us brought their own snacks - a great idea for the next time!Highly recommended!

My friends and I had an amazing tasting today. Christy was a great hostess and the wines were superb. The property is beautiful. We all will definitely go back again.
Wonderful! The reserve Sauv Blanc was exceptional - views were gorgeous and the services was friendly and welcoming.
Loved the place, the wine and the whole experience!
What a wonderful winery. Loved the Chardonnay, and all the reds. Especially loved the book of fables. Our Wine Educator, Ryan was amazing. He had great knowledge of the wines he was pouring, the fables that went along with the wines, and was even able to tell us the one fable that is not in the book.We can't wait to visit again.
Great winery! So fun for the family too! Highly reccomend!
