The Poor House is a fantastic neighborhood bar with a great sense of community. The music is always enjoyable, and the recent updates to the space make it even better—more room, more comfort, and more people able to enjoy it. It’s friendly, welcoming, and feels like a place where everyone belongs. The owners and staff are incredibly nice and truly care about creating a safe, fun environment. Great selection of craft beers and ciders, plus wine and soju cocktails. When there’s a band playing they also have a food truck. Trivia night is fun, and they even have a jam session night where musicians and singers can accompany the band. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a laid-back spot with good live music and good people.
