Please be sure to get the name of person who confirms your reservation over the phone if you make changes after your book through Yelp. We had made a reservation the evening before for 11:15AM the following morning. The next morning we spoke with a young gentleman to change our time to 11:45AM and he promptly gave his confirmation. When we arrived, the hostess who greeted us told us that their system had been down all morning, and could not find my reservation , despite showing confirmation of our time slot. We tried our best to look for it with her via our phone number and name. On top of that, they were never planning to accommodate us since they had filled all seating before we had even arrived. I'm sure the food is wonderful here from all the reviews and pictures, but the service is much to be desired for the price point they set.

Great service but the food is exceptional! Great place for our girls night out. The stuffed dates are my favorite appetizer.

We had a fantastic birthday meal celebration here. The outside dining was charming and fun with a covered patio and heat lamps surrounded by a beautiful brick patio. The steak, beet salad and special mushroom toast were all amazing - and the owner was warm and inviting as he welcomed us and shared how he and his wife came to own this great restaurant. Absolutely delicious! Book ahead as it's sometimes hard to get a table.

Loved the ambiance here! Such a good stop when we first got in - the bread service was delicious!

We had a negative experience with the hostess here last night. To say we were disappointed is an understatement. We didn't eat at the restaurant but based on our treatment I can't recommend this establishment. The menu looked delicious and the ambience was lovely. We saw the cute outside patio when we were shopping next door and the shop recommended the restaurant and sitting in the patio. When we arrived at the restaurant it was empty. The patio had a few people outside. Yelp showed tons of dining availability. We checked in with the hostess to see if she had space for 4 on the patio. She said she had immediate availability inside but it would be a 45 minute wait for outside. We said we're fine waiting and she added us to an online waiting list. We left and shopped some more. We arrived back at the restaurant 35 mins later because my mom was cold and tired (it was raining outside and most shops had closed). The hostess told us we were early. We said we understood and just wanted to wait in the entryway out of the cold. She said nothing. 10 mins later (again restaurant was empty and no one was leaving or arriving) she said ok it's been 45 mins I'll seat you inside now. I said we've been waiting 45 mins for an outside patio table. She said, "Well there's nothing available and the inside table is next to the patio". I asked her why she wouldn't have told us that when we checked in and added our name to the list or when we arrived back and were waiting. She didn't reply and wouldn't make eye contact. It was the rudest encounter and most unprofessional experience I've had in a restaurant as an adult. We left. On a positive note- we were able to get a table at BL Brasserie around the corner. Food and service were lovely.

Came in to Paso Robles for a special evening and had dinner at Thomas Hill organics and it was spectacular. Quite literally, the food was off the charts! Five stars for the service, as well. Seriously, if you're coming to this area for something special, or just in the area for lunch or dinner, do you stop by and you will not be disappointed.

Overrated restaurants need to focus on their service, not just their cuisine. We had made reservations 2 months in advance, and were looking forward to the supposedly highly-rated food. We arrived 5 minutes early for our reservation, and ended up waiting 25 minutes, with no place to sit, only to be then told it was uncertain when we actually could be seated (despite empty tables galore and an empty bar) due to short staffing and two large parties being seated without reservations having overwhelmed the kitchen. We finally gave up and left, disappointed but more disgusted at the attitude of the staff and proprietors. If you cannot handle the volume, say so. If you accept reservations (and took the time to confirm them by text mere hours before) then honor them. If you are short staffed, then focus on the people who made the effort to make reservations rather than on walk-ins. If you make people with reservations wait far beyond their scheduled time, you should apologize, offer them a beverage, or at least acknowledge you screwed up. Behaving otherwise reflects poor business management or arrogance, both of which will ultimately ruin your business. Sadly, as a result of our experience I would not recommend this establishment to anyone, despite the rumors of fine food.

Overprice Trader's Joe dishes in a sad and depressing ambiance. On top of that, insincere and lacking of service quality. Just skip it and go to Trader's Joe for a better experience.

Had a fantastic time at this restaurant with two families and our 4 children. We dined outdoors in the back patio. it is a little difficult to navigate around their large chairs, but we're here for the food! We had brunch. Thick slices of bread, hearty food, rustic and just plain good flavor. We very much enjoyed it and were happy that this was a kid friendly place. It took a long time to get our check paid, but otherwise, no complaints!

Had booked this place off of recommendations from Colleagues. It was phenomenal! We had booked for my birthday and loved it so much we went back a second night and cancelled our reservation somewhere else. The food was delicious, service was amazing and everyone was friendly and attentive. Our second night we got to meet the chef and owner and they were so personable. The ambiance was nice too and the fireplace was going while there. The twinkle lights were subtle and enjoyable. It was an all around amazing experience and will be back.
