WOW! Trumpet Vine Catering blew us away for our wedding in San Luis Obispo Sept of this year. When I say our guests were raving about the food... it tasted so fresh, and very on-point with the local SLO cuisine! The staff were so kind, and such a pleasure to work with. We had the pleasure of meeting Nick and Erica Nolan before our wedding and their story was so special. A highlight of our wedding is when Erica came up to us during the cocktail hour with 1 of each appetizer, so we got to try them (even though we were running around the entire hour!) For dinner, we opted for a plated menu with short rib, salmon, and a vegetarian pasta options, a delicious fresh orange/macadamia salad with a sherry vinaigrette, and local gelato for dessert. It was absolutely perfect - from the pre-wedding tasting, to the menu creation, cocktail hour appetizers, to the dinner meal…TV exceeded our expectations. It was such a joy working with Erica and the rest of TVC. They are incredibly responsive in terms of contract questions and general communication. We had a great time at our sample menu tasting and an even better time on our wedding day. We signed with them almost immediately and because of that, the Meet & Greet Iced tea, water, and cookies were included in our catering price which I thought was a great value. My guests enjoyed the chicken and waffles and ahi tuna passed appetizers. Another favorite during dinner was the Miso Salmon with a sweet potato puree that had everyone raving. For us, food was an important priority, and it is easy to say that TVC provided great tasting entrees. I highly reccommend booking with them!
