Really fantastic winery to visit. Every wine is fantastic. The owners/winemaker are welcoming. The staff are enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Very approachable wine for the new wine drinkers as well as the refined palate!
My wife and went to Volatus based on reviews and we are adding 5 star. Daniel our wine guide was fantastic. Great knowledge of wines and the Paso Robles area. We went on a Wednesday so we had the tasting room to ourselves. The red wines were full bodied and are drinking very well now, and will age nicely. Daniel explained we are in a slow period ( just a few days) as the wine festival had just passed and we are entering Memorial day weekend. The vibe and energy was excellent....
Lovely wines, reasonably priced. Some varietals you wouldn’t find elsewhere. The owner has a great story with which surfer Dan regales guests.
