Update: Went back one last time because a friend was curious about this Casino and my god the experience was just as bad as the first one if not worse. This is the only casino I've ever been to in a 300 mile radius where the slot machines completely crash leaving you wondering if you'll get your money back. This happened both times here (my only 2 visits) and it's never happened in all my experiences anywhere else so something is wrong here. It's also the only casino I've ever seen where all the employees just lounge around talking to each other. This second and last visit my slot completely turned off so I hit the service button on the slot next to me. Minutes go by and no one shows up so I tried flagging someone down and this bastard that works here just waves back at me and keeps walking. Meanwhile I'm wondering if I'll get my $650 back that was in the machine. Finally I flag another guy down who tried to ignore me as well but I convinced him to find someone to help me. So finally a guy comes over and opens the machine, starts to troubleshoot it while talking to another employee. Meanwhile, no apologies or sympathy whatsoever, just doing his job and says it will "take a while". I'm a nervous wreck at this point but finally it reboots and my money is there. Again no apology, it's like they are used to it happening every 5 minutes or something when I've never seen it in my life outside or this horrible casino. The staff are especially terrible here, there's no hotel and it's especially smoky inside compared to other casinos. Avoid this place like the plague.

Don’t bother with this place…..service is horrible and atmosphere is average. Took 15 mins to get seated when the placewasn’t half full….1/2 of our order was finally served after another 25 min wait….they brought fajitas but no salsa, tortillas or rice/beans…..that took another 15 mins…..at which time the fajitas were cold. Atmosphere was cafeteria style….not great.

The Cafe has a great stake & eggs breakfast for $6.99 . Great atmosphere, friendly service and always plenty of food on the plate.

While the payouts were impressive, my experience was marred by a situation where someone, possibly homeless, engaged me in conversation and repeatedly asked for money. Despite my initial willingness to help, the persistent requests eventually led to me giving away a significant portion of my winnings. I find it disheartening that casino staff allowed such behavior, impacting the overall experience negatively. While I acknowledge my choice to be generous, the continuous solicitation disrupted what could have been a positive visit. The casino's acceptance of begging guests surprised and disappointed me, overshadowing the appeal of the great payouts.

Prime rib had great flavor but cut too thin. Had to use chicken gravy no beef gravy. Desserts were casino like desserts very dry nothing special. Only one vegetable..greenbean overcooked. Mushroom soup good. Turkey very dry. Stuffing overcooked.

You know what they say about first impressions, when we drove up to the casino, the landscape and entry was welcoming. There is a large pavement parking lot and the casino was a bit small. If you are not a smoker, I would probably continue the drive to Pechanga or another non-smoking casino because the casino is small and extremely smokey. The cafe was okay. We got the two dinner Prime Rib for twenty dollars; as long as you have a players card. The Prime rib was a little tough but it did come with vegetables, bread, a baked potatoe and salad. The salad came after we received our entree. (Kind of backwards) The drinks were $3 each. So for $16.00 with our ten dollar tip, it was okay. Our server was not the best. Now for the big question, will we return? Probably not.

I worked at Casino Pauma my Name was Ricardo Casillas iii I was the Best dealer in that place! I always spoke good about this place and all the players loved me! Except few, I was harass by players and sexual harass by workers. The moment I said something the shift Bryant he said " I should learn customer service" so it's okay for players to harras other players that's customer service right? The moment I spoke up about this harassment they suspended me and later finding out I was fired because I was talking with a player?? Isn't that our job to entertain and talk with the players?? I made the most money there, and they all knew it. They put a target on my back because they all envy me. This casino is Fraud! They treat their employees like shit. The HR doesn't care, they couldn't handle what I had to say and hanged up. This is the biggest scam casino do not come here.

My apologies I don't know the name of the Bar - the one that is located straight in front of the front door - Let's just call it Center Bar....I have been a guest of this Casino on 4-5 occasions over the last year and 100% of the time I have received EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE at this bar. The employees are attentive, friendly and welcoming. It's unfortunate that Casino Pauma does not have a hotel because if they did, Pala would have serious competition for sure.My friends and family PLAY at Pauma Casino (that is where guests can actually have fun and WIN) and then head to Pala to party, enjoy their live entertainment and stay in their hotel.Perhaps it is time that Tribal Business Owners and the City of Pauma consider expanding and adding a hotel. My other suggestion is to please "Step Up" the quality of Pauma Food Product and Service as it is significantly below minimal standards.CASINO on.................................

I occasionally play here. Went about 2 weeks ago and spent $300. Didn't win a darn thing. So i went to eat in their restaurant and it was terrible. Service was bad, food was flavorless and expensive. Had to ask for a waiter just to let them know I was in the restaurant. Paid $45 for lunch for two and food was not good at all. I do not recommend you eat there. it was their Cafe. Mexican restaurant next to it was not opened yet for the day.2 and that's being generous!

The mex restaurant here has been put on my "worst" list. Cheap meat for the fajitas... tale cheap tortillas...and the dip (seriously)? The recipes. Are awful.Dear chef:. Don't make people loose their money in this place also...redo the menu or do you have such a small budget. I want at least a good meal to have after I win.
