We were from out of town. We pulled into a parking space at the end of parking spots. There was a sign stating Hospice Thriftstore. We were going to go in restairant and have lunch. We saw the thriftstore sign and decided to go in there before lunch. When we went to our vehicle to items in and then go in to the restaurant, a waitress came out and told us the owner was going to tow our car! She said there was a sign stating it was restaurant parking only. There was no sign on the pole from the restaurant, only the thriftstore. The other spaces were empty in front of restaurant. So because of their attitude that we had gone to thriftstore first and then to restaurant, we took out business elsewhere. So this tells me that if the owner was looking out the window judging, so that means no clientel , food must be bad. So another nearby restaurant got our business. Oh and by the way, we were waiting for other family members to join us for lunch. So our family totalled 12 people.

the floors and walls were so dirty. At the table we were served with plastic utensils and plastic cups also. There was a dessert case with slanted shelves with who knows what inside. I felt embarrassed and bad for the employees who work there.

Feels like home cooked food. I really enjoy the family vibe. I'm a very picky eater and I don't like my food to come over seasoned, I like to add my own salt and pepper if I prefer. The waitress was very outgoing and professional. I will be returning.

Yes! This is a nice small place. I love it, it is small so at busy hours there can be a wait. The food is home style cooking; great people; Delicious Food. I've been a few times now; the atmosphere is family like; so don't expect your typical chain restaurant; expect family friendly service even in its busiest times; expect that it maybe slower than others but they make up for it in all categories. Sorry, I always forget to take pictures but I had the tench toast and the chicken fried steak is awesome, huge. Everything is priced competitively, enjoy the coffee! Enjoy your time with these lovely ladies busting there ass yo offer the best service and good.

I'm very torn about this place now. For the last thirty years, it used to be one of my and my wife's favorite places to come for breakfast. But now it has a new owner, and maybe they are still trying to get it figured out. I always judge a breakfast place by how it's biscuits and gravy are. And as it turned out, they were actually pretty good. They needed a little more pepper and the gravy was just a touch thick, but all in all pretty good. But the pancakes!! My god were absolutely HORRIBLE! They were burnt and crunchy on one side and raw on the other. The lard like margarine that they use and offered for the pancakes and toast would be barely suitable to use as frying oil. The waitress was scattered all over the place with no organization and treated us like crap and gave us nothing but attitude. The Bacon could be in the Guinness book of world records as the thinnest undercooked bacon ever successfully cooked and stayed in one piece. All of our eggs we're ordered as over medium and came with broken yolks. The really fun part was the next day all three of us had diarrhea, and one was throwing up, from what was either bad bacon or bad eggs. I am so sad over this. Because this means that if they don't figure it out and get their food fixed and improved, they will not be in business much longer.

Food was not great especially for the price. Waitress was very rude and impatient. Would not recommend or ever go back.

Loved Sunday morning breakfast here with my dad today. Tasty eggs over hard, good coffee, friendly staff. George Strait playing in the background.

The food was acceptable, nothing special. The service was horrendous. The waitress was rude and confrontational. The restaurant had just changed hands (sign in window). Old disheveled menus, windows needed cleaning, walls needed paint touched up or repainted. We won't be going back.

We brought a group in to try things out as the sign said new owners. We were hopeful we would have a decent local place to go. The first clue should have been the old menus with scratched out prices, additions, and notes. We should have left then. We felt committed when coffee came. It was lukewarm but at least it was coffee. It wasn't until later one person noticed the lipstick on the cup. They only had one water glass that looked like it was a thrift store find so the rest of the waters were brought in Styrofoam. We tried a few breakfast options (one party member wisely opted out of ordering after the initial signs) and unfortunately none of the meals was really enjoyable. In addition to the abundance of butter slathered on the bread, the crunchy "over easy" egg, and charred hash browns.... there were many odd flavors, likely from burning and cooking items on a shared griddle. The bacon didn't even taste like bacon... just the odd flavor from the grill. Almost an hour later we all still have an odd taste in our mouth. All in all...4 meals with coffee for about $70. The waitress was sweet.
