With the new owner, food quality has improved greatly. The menu and daily specials are very tasty, with options like biscuits and gravy, one of the best chicken fried steaks in the area, a really good hamburger, and sausage. The atmosphere is very friendly, described as an amazing country diner with cute and cozy diner vibes. Staff are awesome, talkative, and down to Earth. There is plenty of seating, clean bathrooms, and an abundance of parking. Outside seating is available, and call-in to-go orders are offered. Customers recommend this spot for breakfast, noting the generous portions and good flavor. The cook does a great job with daily specials, and soups are being added as the weather cools. This is a must-try in Penn Valley for families and friends.
