I used to eat at this place years ago, and just remembered it, and how good it is. I was actually reminiscing of it like a long lost love. I’m at that age I guess lol. I love quality food that much. Anyway, this place is incredible, and I hope it’s open for decades to come. Everything they make is incredible. Enjoy!
Pretentious owners ruin it for customers not in their Lake Wildwood circle of regulars. Food is awesome but prices are from the bay area. There are better, more affordable choices in Grass Valley, Nevada City.
We have heard good things about Twelve 28 for YEARS, and finally ventured down to Penn Valley for our anniversary. The food and the service were exceptional, and the live acoustic guitar helped create a really nice atmosphere. The portions are generous and the pasta dish with artichokes and capers and lemon (new to the menu) was the best thing I've eaten in a long time. Thanks for a lovely evening, we will be back!
