“Penn Valley Northridge is the most unprofessional establishment I have ever been too. The owner literally attempted to fight Steve infront of our son, threatened our family and attempted to sick a dog on him while he was trying to put our son in my car. Several customers came up to us and said they could not believe Carlos the owner just did that at his place of business. That man acts like he is untouchable and can treat people however he pleases, he reacted this way over a $10 credit to our tab after being over charged by his staff.“

“we came in for dinner at 6 on a Friday night. The restaurant was dead empty and it took well over an hour and we never got our food. We asked several times how much longer it would be and they just kept telling us it would be soon. We were then told it was an hour an hour wait when we ordered but we were not informed of that when we placed our order. The staff was incredibly rude and just standing around the whole time chit-chatting and doing nothing. We ended up demanding a refund to go someplace else.“

“We were the only dine-in customers. The hostess was also the waitress and the take out person. She was overwhelmed a couple of times. Obviously it is time to hire additional help. She was always upbeat and positive. The food came out in a timely manner and was hot and delicious. Because she was so busy we had to wait for more tea and hot sauce. One of our leftovers was put in the trash in error. Had she had help all of these issues would not have happened and we would be giving 5 stars. We will go back and adjust accordingly if we see she is alone again. Definitely a place to go!“

“Very nice restaurant with good quality dinner food. Their list of egg Benedict’s is super long and great variety. The cinnamon was not as good as I would expect and in fact was dry and burn in areas. Service was great and we were treated super well. Overall, nice place for a bite when in town.“

“I have had a few good experiences here. But that was about 2 years ago at the other location. I have had mixed experiences, but ultimately, it is good food, just dont go heavy in the pink sauce. You will regret it within 6-9 hours. Drink a tbsp if you are constipated, and you will become unconstipated! It's indigestible. It can hurt you ... But it does help the Hershey highway to flow!!! “Well I was pleasantly surprised to return after so many years to find a very clean, efficiently ran, reasonably priced and delicious breakfast. Considering there were only two floor people at the time we were there, things went smoothly.
I'll definitely return sooner than later. If you haven't been there in a while, you may want to consider it.“

“I’ve lived in the area for 7 years and finally got around to trying Pete’s Pizza. I’m disappointed I haven’t tried it sooner…the food was excellent. We ordered a family size arugula salad which was quite fresh and plenty for 5 of us to share, along with 3 pizzas (Funguy, Conamara, and the Yuba). I’d argue it’s the best pizza in Grass Valley. The pizza is fresh, thin crust, and flavorful. Pete’s can be busy so assume your pizza will take a while, but kill some time with an appetizer and/or the salad while you wait. They also have a solid tap list and offer a tasting board!“
