I have always wanted to bring back my Mexican traditions and instill those values to my kids. Today I got the courage to look up a tortilleria and go buy masa for tamales. To say I went in there uncomfortable and clueless is an understatement. Luckily I was greeted with Don Pablo who helped me through the entire process. The white and corn tortillas were warm. The prices were great. I don't speak Spanish so there was a bit of a communication problem. These tacos are great if you eat them right away. I reheated them the next day and maybe I didn't reheat as I should've but they were hard on the edges. I would still come back as this is a authentic as it gets!
