We had horrible food service, as far as obtaining food timely.... Our waitress was very apologetic however, we left having had a disappointing experience. I ordered a salad-ok... my husband ordered shepherds pie-late/cold and unable to eat...most of our late/ cold food was chimp's and yet it will take more than a minute to give them another try.

We've been to Ayawaska several times and it has been a bit inconsistent.... however the food was always compelling enough to return. This visit was the best ever. The service, cocktails (a new, wider selection) and food all hit high notes.Every dish was balanced and well present, but above all it was delicious.I suspect maybe a new GM or new focus on operations!

Our first dining experience here and the food was amazing. I had a pasta dish, my mates had the soup and we all loved the flavors and spices in our dishes. We will def return in the near future!!

Ayawaska was fantastic! We went out to celebrate my early birthday . Food was delicious our server was great! Love the vibe and the Ambiance. We will return to this restaurant again. As for prices, food prices was reasonable but the drinks are too expensive in my opinion.

I made reservations but it was raining and they weren't busy so they took us early. It was pretty dead inside but as it got later, it definitely got busier. From the maitre'd to the floor, the staff were great. Our server was attentive but not over bearing and answered all of our questions. We ordered the empanadas to start and they were light and delicious. We had the traditional Chica morada which was refreshing and not too sweet. I had the pisco sour and it was OK but I opted for a different spirit for my second drink. For mains we had the lomo saltado and the grilled octopus. The beef in the lomo saltado was so tender, I could cut it with a fork. It was seasoned just right and the accompanying vegetables were cooked perfectly also. The grilled octopus was also on point. I would definitely come back. Glad to know that they have another location so there are some options!

Had the pleasure of enjoying dinner here while visiting family last weekend. My sister goes here frequently and thought it would make the perfect dinner spot for my short visit. As a lover of Peruvian food, I was happy to give this place a try. Their cocktail menu is very impressive and full of beautiful drink's. I ordered some type of punch which was refreshing, tasty, and gorgeous. We started with empanadas- both chicken and veggie. They were delicious and very filling, and could easily be eaten as a meal on their own. For my entree I had a pork dish that came with a side of white rice. The pork was tender, the sauce on top was insanely good and unique, and even the white rice was fantastic. This place is not to be missed and I can't wait to come back. Even though I'm sure there are great dishes to try, I will probably not be able to resist the pork dish. The service was equally as fabulous as the food which made the experience top notch.

Fun place. Good food, cocktails were great. Service was only okay. Heaters were out of propane, so had to sit inside

This was one of my best dining experiences in a while. The menu includes many peruvian items that I was unfamiliar with and was a bit overwhelming at first. However, our waiter was super helpful and pointed us to a wonderful ceviche surrounded by calamari and some Peruvian fried yucca. The cocktails were fun and incredibly tasty. The empanadas were amazing, and the Peruvian sauce that came with it was remarkable. We will be coming back.

I love love love their octopus ceviche! I'm from the east bay but will drive out to Petaluma for their ceviche. My family and I stumbled upon this gem while exploring the area. It looked super cute and had a wide variety of food on their menu to try Peruvian food for the first time. In addition to the ceviche we had the seafood paella. Cooked to perfection and makes my mouth water just thinking about it. We've returned three times since and that says a lot to drive 1.5 hours with bay traffic! Service is quick and attentive. Highly recommend! Would give 10 stars if possible :)

WARNING DO NOT EAT HERE!!! EAT AT YOUR OWN RISK!!! SEVERE SEAFOOD POISONING!! Food was honestly great but my fiancé and I spent 12 hours throwing up and experiencing explosive diarrhea on the night we got engaged. Called a few times to get ahold of the team and when they finally did they told us without a doctors note they could offer a giftcard. Sad part is we enjoyed the experience but genuinely experienced some of the worst pain of our lives, sweating profusely on the bathroom floor only to be told we have no proof. Yikes!!!!

What can I say, we were wowed! I came here with my cousin on a Saturday afternoon and we ordered 4 entrees, 1 appetizer, and 2 Pisco sour cocktails. We had leftovers for days. The Pisco sour was so stiff - strongest drink of my life. I loved it so much!!! My cousin got the Maracuya Sour and the flavor was a bit sweeter (and a little better.) We ordered the chicken soup w/ rice (sorry I forgot the name of this dish!) We were a bit disappointed with the amount of rice and lack of broth but the flavor was delicious! Seco de carne was fabulous. The meat was so tender and beans were delicious. The veggie empanadas were mushroom and flakey and so buttery and delicious. The guacamole they were served with was so yummy!! My cousin also got the La Duqueza salad. The salmon was cooked to perfection. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience. Can't wait to go back!

I came here with friends and had a great experience at the bar! Nick treated us like family, made us excellent drinks, and made our experience overall a great one. Make sure to get yourself some of the Empanadas De Lomo they were the best empanadas I’ve ever had. Can’t recommend this place enough if you’re on the fence let this review be your push to give this Peruvian restaurant a try!
