About Blooms End at Neighboring Fields

Blooms End at Neighboring Fields is a special place where Mary creates pure magic with her pastries. She puts her absolute all into what she does, greeting everyone with charm and warmth no matter how busy it may be. Fridays are quieter, but even a Saturday wait is rarely more than 20 minutes, though event weekends like strawberry fest or tomato days may mean a longer wait, which visitors enjoy while chatting and plotting what pastries to enjoy. Mary posts the weekly menu with tasting notes on Thursdays. The location is delightful, next to a one room schoolhouse converted to a farmstand shop, with a lovely morning drive through backroads. The whole wheat viennoiserie has delicious flavor and crunch, and standout items include the very seasonal tomato pie, which packs a literal explosion of herby, cheesy flavors on a tender whole tomato slice. The weekly menu is seasonally influenced, with savory and sweet items composed using uniquely paired ingredients sourced from local farms. Visitors can eat treats in the wisteria draped gazebo, and the farmers market on site is well worth a visit. Mary’s pastries are unique, inventive, and artistically presented, with fresh, seasonal ingredients shining through each item.
