We are so grateful to HenHouse Brewing for their generosity in donating beer for our fundraiser to help save dogs in Contra Costa County. Their support helped make our event a huge success, and the beer itself? Absolutely phenomenal.

What makes HenHouse beer so special is how it’s made: always fresh, unfiltered, and unpasteurized. Brewed in small batches with an eye toward quality and creativity, each flavor bursts with vibrant hop character and balance. HenHouse has built a reputation for brewing with intention—showcasing the artistry of hops while keeping drinkability front and center. I agree. DELISH.

Our guests loved the lineup and I borrow this writing from online descriptions:
- Hollow Moon IPA – Bursts with tropical guava and piña colada notes from Mosaic and Sabro hops, perfectly balanced.

- Frozen Envelope IPA – A hazy, juicy treat, dripping with orange, pineapple, guava, and grapefruit. It looked like a creamsicle in a can and tasted even better.

- Big Chicken Double IPA – Bold and brimming with hops (Mosaic, Simcoe, Amarillo, and more), this is HenHouse at its hop-forward best.
Best Life Blonde Ale – Smooth, crisp, and lightly hoppy, the perfect can to crack open any time. And great graphics!

Not only were the beers a hit, but HenHouse’s generosity and community spirit shone through. They did not just donate—they partnered with us in creating a fun, memorable experience, and I'm confident they got alot of fans post-event.

Simply put, HenHouse Brewing represents the best of Northern California craft beer: inventive, community-minded, and always brewed with passion and care. Plus their graphics are so fun!

Your beer was a huge hit and brought a lot of joy to our event. Your support means the world to use and we’re so thankful to have you as part of our community. I've been several ties with friends while in town. The food trucks are always high quality and reasonably priced. The atmosphere is chill, and trivia night Thursdays with Jessica is always a good time. As a light beer drinker I can find something delicious in a place that is known for heavier and more flavorful IPAs.

I'm a little disappointed. I got a 12 pack from the tap room and it was brewed 1/8. I can find fresher beers at the supermarket... I would think the beer slogan, drink fresh, would apply to their own tap room beers, even for the to go beers. Don't get the 12oz beers from here assuming it's a nice fresh IPA. Also, I hear upper management is very friendly to their employees...

Great beer great place great people

I ordered a pint of red ale. Bartender served it with 3+fingers of foam. When I asked him, if I could have a full pint, he told me that was a full pint and walked away. The two stars are for the food truck out front. The bartender gets no stars. It’s was yesterday around 1pm.

Busy craft brewery with limited seating and a great tap list. Update: still my favorite place in the North Bay!

My local pub, only for another few weeks. Cool staff, great beer, super dog friendly environment, and killer Halloween decorations.

I love this place. The staff is fantastic, the beer is incredible, they have amazing food trucks on the regular. You go here, you can't miss. Parking can be tight at peak, consider coming by bike or transit!

My wife and I stumbled upon Henhouse while on vacation. We were traveling back to San Francisco after a day in Sonoma. Wow! We got lucky! The vibe was amazing and the beer was fantastic. Really, any brewery beer will typically do the job, it’s the people which make the experience. The people here made the experience perfect. If you are in the area, this is the place to stop. It is very pet friendly but not annoying if you are not an animal person. Salute!
