Yummy beers and lively ambiance. We happened to visit on Trivia night, and it was a little loud for us but in a fun way. Meaning, I prefer more quiet places, but this was obvious a local favorite spot and families and couples were out having fun. The taco and burrito truck outside makes delicious food, too, and we appreciated having a nice indoor/outdoor spot to enjoy a beer and dinner.
Great beer, especially the IPAs. I had the chance to try both the IPA and the Hazy IPA, and they were very good. I didn’t try the food. The only downside was that about 30 minutes before closing, the bartender refused to sell me one more beer because I still had some beer left in my glass — barely any, really. The person at the bar had a very bad attitude, which took away from the experience.
We are so grateful to HenHouse Brewing for their generosity in donating beer for our fundraiser to help save dogs in Contra Costa County. Their support helped make our event a huge success, and the beer itself? Absolutely phenomenal.
