Used to be a long time customer til I moved away. I was in town for work and boy has this place taken a nose dive. Quality vs dollar is not even closely matched. Will not be returning.

Do not get delivery! They pack the sashimi between hot miso and curry. The curry was watery (and plain! No flavor from onions, carrots, potatoes or anything you usually see) and bland, the meat overcooked, salad wilted etc.Sushi rolls had bad proportions (although some of us liked that) and the fish was fresh. Ive eaten in the restaurant but I won't get delivery (or curry) again.

This place has definitely changed ownership and not for the better. They were not busy - we had a party of 4 and we sat there forever while not 1 but 3 servers stood around chatting amongst themselves. They made contact, we ordered starters, drinks and mains. We never got plates for our appetizers the entire meal. My friend had me look up to see what time they closed and it says 9pm. I always always order the spicy scallop roll and handrolls. If I told you that there was more cucumber than scallop in both rolls it was a joke. We won't be back. Petaluma will miss the friendliness of the of the servers and the great sushi chefs behind the counter that we knew and loved. This time was a real disappointment.

Apart from cozy atmosphere and relatively good looking menu. The staff are where OK, but the,"server" not so much . The same server who decided to blow his nose into a napkin and placed it on the counter sushi bar counter and decided that hand sanitizing was good enough and left the soiled napkin on the sushi bar counter. Once confronted about it in a very polite manner, I felt, He told me to leave obviously. OSHA obviously needs to revisit this establishment to reinforce handwashing hygiene and personal hygiene. Such a shame since they were really slow and the server decided to make a scene out of the whole situation. I regret to say that I do hope that you as the manager and owner of said, establishment, revisit and reestablish boundaries within your employees structure or else how else are you supposed to survive with dwindling clientele? On the other note, I never mentioned nor confronted this to said "server" but he also sneezed into another customers credit card sleeve and handed it to him. Not sure if that's a courtesy, from where ever he's hails... But again, who am I just a Yelp reviewer? Side note; this is a younger male with medium length dyed blonde hair, who obviously doesn't like to be confronted about his downfalls. Make sure he washes his hands after touching his hair.

Food tasted fine. It's just the portions were extremely tiny and pricey. I think they focus way too much on presentation. Me and a friend had to go to "In and Out" right after because we were still hungry.

I've been coming to this restaurant for a few years now everyone is always so nice. I came in today at 2:08 PM. This blonde young girl working here was extremely rude and told me that I had three minutes to order because they close at 2:30PM I told her that it was fine and that I was leaving instead she responded with an OKAY " definitely not coming back here!

This place seems to have great sushi when I lived in Petaluma. I ate here all the time. I went back.November 12th with friends. I got the dinner plate. The tempura was good. However I had niguri sushi which was terrible. The fish slices were thin and flavorless. The rice was hard and dry and actually had almost crunchy bits. I was saddened and disappointed because it used to be really good. Service was fine.

My roll was literally $18 another $11. They charge $1.50 for soy paper (crazy I've never been charged for soy paper) and $2 for a side of jalapeños! An extra $5 for soy paper and jalapeños. The girl that answered was really rude. Sushi is meh...won't be going back.

Absolutely the best service! I ordered something I thought was cooked, (but only one component was cooked - totally my fault I forgot to read the menu fully). Being a transplant recipient, I explained that I couldn't eat what they brought and were very understanding about it and brought me a fried dragon roll. To our server, Leah; YOU ROCK!!

The Bento Box was stunning, teriyaki salmon and tempora, both delicious. And so was my friends Avocado sushi and cucumber salad. Great food, good service and reasonable price.

Very good sushi here. It's a solid spot. We have been here a few times. It is situated down town Petaluma. Plenty of seating and great service.
