I’ve always enjoyed Simmer. But this evening, I had such great customer service and food that I had to post a review. The restaurant is full of customers (which is always a good sign) but it’s still serene. All of the portions are huge, delicious, and well worth the price.

My partner just moved to Petaluma, and we love good pho more than just about anything, so we were SO excited to discover this place! Very flavorful broth, tender meats, beautiful decor, and quick, kind, attentive service. Our waiter even noticed be trying and failing to Shazam a song playing over the radio and came up and told me the artist and the name of the song. 😂 If that’s not great service, I don’t know what is!

Went with the garlic noodles and pork, rare beef pho. Both were yummy, great flavors. Fast friendly service, return visit is now on the calendar.

It’s solid pho but not amazing. The broth lacked the depth and vitality of a five star rating. While dining I heard another customer ask if there was a new chef because the broth wasn’t as good as usual, so maybe it was just a bit of an off day.

What a treat to have Simmer in town! Their food is excellent and so is their staff! Seriously I’ll fan girl all day for all of their locations! I think it really speaks volumes to how they operate their business! Thank you so much!

I have no use for a waiter who can’t remember my order, can’t be bothered to write anything down, and acts like basic courtesy is too much to ask.
If that’s the level of service, AI would do a far better job—without the attitude.

I love simmer! They have great egg rolls and amazing noodles. Overall I would suggest the spring roll as the sauce pairs so good with it! The food always comes fast and they’re always happy to bring you anything you need like even a ladle!

This is our go to spot for a quick and delicious dinner. Time after time, we are impressed by the quality, flavor and portions. The vegan Pho and fresh tofu spring rolls are top of the line. The service is always friendly and the restaurant is cozy and inviting, especially on a cooler evening. We will be coming back soon.

Incompetent employees who get takeout orders incorrectly consistently and then don’t refund or don’t mark orders as collected on delivery apps so they can’t refund

Great lemongrass chicken on noodles. Fast. Cold environment and sometimes the staff who hands you your take-out is brusk. But love popping in here for take-out.

This place is an absolute find! Everything I’ve had on the menu so far has been totally delicious and very well made. The staff are always very polite and service is quick. The fried tofu and any Pho they produce are my favorites. I will return again and again.
