My girlfriend and I used to be regulars well known by their staff. But their current manager Eric seems to not care about customer lifetime value. Last time we were suddenly rudely denied even just a small table inside and offered only to sit in the coldest spot outside in the wind. Good luck Eric keeping up Taps' reputation as a custumer friendly place with these new policies and understaffed and untrained personell!

We came in on a weekday for lunch and the food was delicious. The menu had many options for everyone, including vegan and kids choices. The beer selection was amazing! I was surprised to see some of my favorite breweries that are hard to find on their tap list. Our server was Laillah and she was great! Very attentive and spectacular service. We will definitely return

Great food, very large portions. Waiter was very attentive (for example, noticed our table had a wobble so he put a shim beneath the leg, noticed my wife didn't enjoy her drink without her saying anything so he gave her a fresh one and explained because it was due to being near the end the taste probably wasnt as it should be)

Only had the poutine, was a bit disappointed that it didn't have actual curds (I'm willing to settle for fresh mozzarella) they used some other kind of cheese as far as i could tell, it turned translucent. Regardless the fries were perfect for how thin they were and skins on, well done! The gravy was also nice and rich, it more than made up for the cheese.
Beer selection was good and the serving portion felt generous. We were also able to get some samples before ordering my second round, which saved us.
We were seated promptly, and our server came by a few minutes later asking what we would be having, she seemed to show a "you're not ready" face when we asked for waters to start. I was literally not halfway through the beer selection at this point. There was this feeling of rushing when being asked how we were doing, maybe this is a Petaluma restaurant thing, or maybe it's just me, not sure.
Regardless the atmosphere was great, good food and drinks.

Great restaurant bar by the river in Petaluma. The atmosphere is very chill, the staff is extremely friendly, and the menu is surprisingly interesting.
Ordered the brisket sandwich. When it came it was more like a grilled cheese sandwich with some brisket in it, definitely not what I expected. I wouldn't go back

It's our weekly meet up with friends. Roomy Riverside deck, great selections ?on tap. Great Happy Hour small plates. Tried the Raspberry Bliss Sparkling cocktail, a new favorite!! Can't wait for the cooler weather to arrive. Great Customer Service, Enjoy!

Friendly and knowledgeable service, excellent selection of beers on tap and great food! I particularly like the steak Caesar salad and the tacos borrachos. Indoor and outdoor dining along the Petaluma River. TVs if you want to watch sports. It’s one of my go-to spots to meet up with a friend.
