We dined at Taps On The River for the first time last evening. I was so impressed with the service and friendly atmosphere. We chose our table inside by the large windows that looked out on the River. Our server was Jessica and she was simply wonderful. She was very attentive throughout the meal but not intrusive (give this lady a raise!). The food was wonderful. Plenty of choices for all. I might suggest that you put something chocolate on the dessert menu. Thank you all for a delightful evening.

This place was disappointing. Never been before and our server didn’t seem too pleasant. Can someone tell me WHY do restaurants bring out your side salad WITH the hot entree?? They brought mine both at once so I had to eat my salad quickly while my food got cold. How does that make sense? Our server said I needed to request that when ordering. Why? I didn’t pay my friend treated but if I paid she would get a zero tip. Do better Taps!

Middle of the road all around, food and service. It is nice to sit outside by the water. If you are looking for a place to hang and drink, this might be a good spot for you. Games going on for the crowd and loud. So for fun, probably yes- for exceptional food or sensitive to being catered to by the help, maybe not.
