We order from here often. Since living in a different city we usually order through doordash. Something changed in the menu where we couldn't add any special instructions. Very challenging because my daughter only likes a few foods and one specifically from this restaurant. After calling and talking to Sandra, she took the time to figure out the glitch through doordash, and now we are able to order this special meal again. Huge thank you to Sandra for caring enough to spend several days and endless hours figuring this out. I can't thank you enough!! Customer service like I haven't felt in a very long time.

I can't believe what has happened to this place. They have completely destroyed their reputation in customer service and have gone insane with their pricing. What you see online DOES NOT reflect what you end up paying at the register. This happened the last time ordered a spaghetti and was met with complete carelessness and no offer to fix it when mentioned. My wife was kind enough to bring me a sandwich for dinner and it happened to be from this place. I took one look, touched the disgusting dark and DRY meat and immediately threw it in the trash. You could tell they used old, dry chicken to make this sandwich. Please tell me I'm in the wrong here. I'm so done with this place.

I really truly would like to give this place a five star because the food is excellent, fresh, hot, and just like the New York style Pizza we are used to. The atmosphere, however, is not refreshing. On more than one occasion, the waitress( chose not to post a name as we dine there quite frequently) there has been short and snippy to us. Thus just makes it hard to enjoy the meal . We decided to go there for dinner last night, the place was packed, which was a refreshing feeling, however my opinion is if a customer has had a few to many , cut him/her off! Intoxicated customers can ruin the atmosphere for other customers with their loud, rude, uncontrollable behavior. New Yorker has been our to go to for years. And yes we will continue to enjoy their lovely food, however, we will do take out. The atmosphere has just become to toxic to sit and relax. Hopefully they can cleanse the atmosphere from toxic issues so it will become a 5 star again to our family. On a positive note, I love their sautéed spinach, best I have ever had and the pesto twist are to die for. New Yorker we do love your establishment. I will change my star review once we feel comfortable dining in.

It's time I finally write a love letter to the New Yorker this Valentine's Day. Personally, I love the New Yorker. As a lifelong Petaluma resident, The New Yorker is as ingrained in my P-town DNA as any place I can think of. This is the spot where I learned what real pizza is supposed to taste like. It might not be the fanciest place in town, but it has what a lot of places in Petaluma no longer have, small-town charm. You can tell this is a family-run place that has been here for generations now. I love that a lot of places around this spot have changed, but they have stayed the same. Walking in there brings me back 25 years to when I was in high school, and I could finally leave campus for lunch. My buddies and I would rush over there, and they always got us served in time to be back at school before we were tardy. The food is great. The pizza has a wonderfully flavored thin crust with a slightly sweet but light tomato sauce. The sauce lets the flavor of tomato shine, and they top their za's with plenty of cheese. The breadsticks are the stuff of legend. Pillowy bites with garlic, herbs, parm and chili flakes. Do yourself a favor and order them with both ranch and red sauce for dipping. The portions of the pasta are huge and come with delicious garlic bread. They also offer a great lunch special with a value that can't be beaten. Their sandwiches are also amazing, and don't sleep on the tuna sub! I've seen some negative comments about the service or the attitude of workers. I couldn't find this farther from the truth. This is the type of place where you will get what you give in regards to attitude. The New Yorker isn't gonna beg for your business or bend over backward to accommodate your ridiculous requests. I'm glad they don't. Diana, who runs the place, is always super friendly and greets me with a smile. However, I can tell she isn't there to deal with people's nonsense. Be a normal, decent human being, and you will be treated wonderfully. Like I already said, I love this place. It is one of those places where I will be sad if it ever isn't there. For me, places like the New Yorker remind me of the Petaluma I grew up loving. As the town has slowly shifted to a much more trendy and touristy food scene and our residents continue to change, the New Yorker has become a place that I am very thankful has stayed the same.

Best pizza to share and it gets better if you order the cheesy pesto twist. If you want pasta I suggest share one because it's so big for one person.

Dood. Dooooood! Damn that was good! I mean, like, ummm. Uh, doooooooooood! And ya know what's super fly..? When you get a sandwich that things hella big ya know, and so big that you can have one half and save the other half for later so it's kinda like two meals in one so it's really a good bang for your buck! Dood!

The aroma when you walk by is "knock-you-out- I am back-home" authentic -- Immediately, we knew you would have amazing pizza! Hard to believe that authentic New York pizza is sooooo close and we have only now found you! From the salt and stretch of the cheese, the light and fresh sauce, to the bite and chew of the crust -------- NEVER have I found this on the west coast, and I have been looking! Service was AMAZING, we felt welcome and well taken care of! We will tell ALL of our friends and we will be back!

Consistently great pizza every time I order. I used to think Mary's pizza was the best, this place blows it out of the water. The crust, the cheese, the sauce, absolute perfection. I don't think I've ever tasted a better pizza in my life. 5/5 fast service and the pizza is perfect every time. Not too spicy, not too burnt no sag when you pick up the pizza. perfection. Will order again and again
