I got a vegan pizza, it was a little on the pricey side but honestly was worth it, it was so good.

Ok...drinks were terrible. 4 of us had tea that was very old and tasted bad. We informed the waitress in a very pleasant manner. She did nothing...just shrugged her shoulders.

Lamb burger was excellent lunch choice. Cooked perfectly with tasty condiments. Great service made for an all around dining experience for me and my friends. Dine led here before and will definitely return.

The owner was very particular about wine and explained things well. The food was delicious and the service was good.

Great vibe reinforced by great staff. The Adult Grilled Cheese [I asked for a double order of caramelized onions] was one of the best sando's I've had. Next visit I'm checking out the Polenta Fries and the Belly Up braised pork belly bites!

From a foodie: the food was delicious! Very fresh ingredients. VERY accessible for VEGANS and GLUTEN FREE folx. I like that it was loud but not too loud - I have 2 kids and they were very well received.

Wild Goat Bistro has consistently been one of my favorite restaurants for years. Quality of food, wonderful and options for vegetarians, GF and other dietary restrictions is rich and plentiful...and not an entirely separate menu. Well done!

Lovely spot in the old mill building in Petaluma. Delicious food with many gluten free options. Wonderful ambience. Drove from SF to meet a visiting relative on a retreat there . Totally worth the trip !!

Not enough non-red meat options. Tax in Petaluma is ridiculous. It was a one and done experience for us, though I would encourage others to try it. I didn't like the mall feel.

The quality of ingredients is very good - you can tell it's real food, made with care and attention down to the homemade condiments and salad dressings. We had lunch menu and some appetizers, everything was worth trying. Pretty much all ingredients are local - for the quality that is being served I do not think the menu is overpriced (I have read this in some of the reviews). And trust me, I am a stingy person and I cook at home so I'm not easily wowed and usually leave overhyped restaurants disappointed. The service and vibe is lovely and warm, not rushed and fake like I find in most good-location restaurants in California. What I really loved is that upon letting the server know we're wrapping up, we were asked if we would like a dessert. We regretfully refused because we were stuffed and had a homemade cake at home for later - but I SO appreciate this approach, where you are not being kicked out the moment you finish eating, but you feel welcome to stay and DINE (not eat, pay and eff off). Service was polite, efficient, friendly and fast. I'm pleasantly surprised and will definitely come back for another treat at some point.

It was just okay. The server seemed taxed, despite there not being many full tables on a rainy day for lunch I don't know if she was the only server working or what. I can't recall/couldn't tell and she didn't mention that. But, she was a bit short with us and even the thought of splitting a salad onto two plates immediately was responded to with a “the kitchen is very busy...” which was just weird. Like, come on... The food was fine. Listen, my taste level isn't usually something that allows for restaurants to impress me, and I know this about myself. So, when asked my take on this spot, I'd eat there again if it was what was presented to me as the option, but I'm not rushing back or anything. The pizza was good but my leftovers of it were better re-heated as it was a bit undercooked for my taste, and as described above, mentioning it to the server was NOT going to happen. The salad was fine. Nothing to write home about... nothing special about it. I don't know, if you're going to serve a salad, do more than just put basic ingredients on it with dressing and bland chicken. Okay, there were pickled onions, but the chickpeas were just bland out of a can or soaked bag... the whole thing was very much as if I built it at a buffet salad bar. Anyway, sorry to leave such a lukewarm review of a small local spot, but I appreciate smaller menus where restaurants take pride in doing each item super well. I'd rather go to a place like Souvla for lunch, for reference on what I do love. Small menu but packed with flavor and care. “Do less, but better” is what I'd say to this place. Take that for whatever it's worth to you!

We were at lunch with friends, 10 of us in all. Most had not been to Wild Goat Bistro. Not only did Ruthie do a great job taking care of us, but the food was great and the Social Halll provided the perfect place to have a meal and an informal meeting. We left satisfied and happy. Thanks.

Food was good especially the dessert. Service was slow. Waitress was not very helpful. Seemed irritated by our questions about the menu. Drinks never got refilled. Not in a hurry to return to this restaurant when there are so many others in the area.

The smoked salmon omelette was outstanding. Fluffy, packed with ingredients, and not greasy. The girls get together there and every time it's a positive experience. The music level can be a tad high though but I'm being picky with that. Just makes it difficult to chat.

The food was super yummy. We ordered the quinoa cakes, the porchetta panini and the turkey burger. Everything was so good. The wait time was minimal during busy lunch time. The service from the hostess was great, the server could use a little help. The restaurant was very cozy.Vegetarian options: Large salad options and main dishes to choose from.
