What a lovely way to spend the afternoon! The Pinots were delicious, especially the Dach Vineyard Pinot. It struck just the right balance of earth and berry notes. The tasting room itself was elegant, yet comfortable. And the host, Emily, was truly a gem. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the experience totally approachable, even for the few wine novices in our group. I can’t wait to return.
Part of the Louis Roederer family, Domaine Anderson crafts single vineyard Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays with emphasis on biodynamic and organic farming. Their wines are reminiscent of Burgundy but definitely has California written in them as well. Their tasting room is spacious and airy. And Brian is a gracious host. Definitely worth a visit in the Valley.
