Wickson is a restaurant known for its delicious and creative dishes, as well as its joyful and welcoming atmosphere. The kitchen staff, which is now entirely composed of women, has made a significant positive change to the restaurant. A recent Easter dinner at Wickson included a standout appetizer of quartet deviled eggs, each with a unique and delightful flavor, as well as a stuffed artichoke and Papas Bravas. The lamb shank was a particularly memorable main course, with its tender and juicy meat and velvety potatoes.
The restaurant also offers a lovely atmosphere with friendly staff. The chef can often be seen cooking in the big wood oven and takes the time to personally greet customers. The parking can be a bit limited, as there are only about 10 spots shared with the inn.
In addition to dinner, Wickson also offers a great lunch menu. For a wedding anniversary celebration, a bottle of Rosé of Pinot Noir and oysters were enjoyed, followed by a standout dish of grilled octopus in squid ink, with smashed potato and spinach. The wood fired margarita pizza was also a hit. Overall, Wickson is a highly recommended restaurant for its delicious food, welcoming atmosphere, and great service.
