This is a very relaxed winery. We really enjoyed our wine guides, Angel and Rainbow. We loved the experience and wines so much that we attempted to change our travel plans to stay the night. The guides did their best to help us find lodging nearby. The wines in the valley tend to be lighter— perfect for summer sipping. We particularly enjoyed the the Zin and were delightfully surprised by the rose of Pinot.
Now that we have discovered the Alexander Valley and the lovely wines at Geeenwood, we will definitely book lodging in the Valley and plan a trip for several days.

We stopped in for a tasting. The woman who was helping us was very unpleasant. I will give her the benefit of the doubt and say maybe it was a bad day. We purchased two bottles of wine, one did not have the foil on the top. I should have gone back in to question it but I didn’t want to deal with her. We stopped in other wineries and the service was so friendly and helpful I would say skip this winery.

A wonderful winery, with extremely friendly staff, and very fairly priced wines. The winemaker’s dog JJ was the highlight of our day and we ended up joining the wine club wich also gives us access to all of the other Wilson group wineries. Can’t wait to be back up here for the next wine pickup!

I would come back in a heart beat! Angel was the best host we have had at any wineries we had been to in the area. Their pinots are amazing and I highly suggest trying their champagne!

Stopped to charge the car at their free charging station with no expectation and was blown away! It is rare I leave a wine tasting having liked every single offering. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable, going as far as seeking out their managers to answer some trickier questions I threw their way, all of which were answered thoroughly and explained incredibly succinctly. A very cosy atmosphère with delicious wines and brandy. I look forward to coming back and to visiting their sister operations around California.

This is a roomy Winery tasting room with the requisite dog as ambassador. Tasted 7 wines. My favorite white was the Viognier, which had a peachy palate and lovely color. The 2020 Above the Fog Pinot had cherry notes and bright finish. The 2020 Elke Pinot was also excellent, having a long finish. Staff was friendly. They served a nice plate of cheese, meat, and salami.
