The vineyard and tasting room were beautiful!! We had a great selection and our host was so helpful with shipping our bottles back home to North Carolina. Delicious wines, we can't wait to continue enjoying them back home!
Been a club member for over 20 years. And the reason is it's simple, excellent crafted wines. Beautiful location friendy staff
Great wine (especially their 2018 Zinfandel), friendly staff, gorgeous views of the valley, and level 2 charging for your EV while you sip!
Bonus: This was the first place I got to try Pinot Grapes! (prior to pressing, squeezing, etc.)
They have a very comfortable patio with plenty of shade. The tasting is very informative, and the wines are really nice. All the wines are dry, so if you are a fan of sweet wines this might not be for you.
Service was really great and staff was really friendly. Wines though just weren't our style, much more fruity than we typically like (at least Pinot wise). Atmosphere is really nice and relaxing with some great view.
A new winery for us. Derek was the perfect host. You must visit Handley.
Beautiful location, amazing staff — laid back and friendly. Wine is great.
Great winery friendly and attentive staff wonderful tasting.
Arrived for a tasting without reservations on a rainy day with two dogs. This place and its fantastic manager welcomed us and went above and beyond to provide exceptional service. Great selection of wines with heavy tasting pours. The "seafood and sips" pairing was delightful. Cannot speak highly enough of the staff - genuine hospitality, impeccable service, and super dog friendly.
Our tasting at Handley Cellars was something we''ll never forget. We showed up after tasting hours, without a reservation, with wet dogs on a rainy day, and still got a personalized wine tasting that lasted an hour longer than the posted closing hours. The Ops Manager welcomed us eagerly, taught us about the history of the vineyard, taught us about the wine we were tasting, and made us feel that for a moment, we owned our own vineyard. It was a birthday tasting that won't be forgotten and wouldn't have happened without the Ops Manager's fingerprint on the memory. I can't not look back on the memory of the weekend without her and Handley Cellars in it.

I had a wonderful tasting over the weekend with Rakhi at Handley Cellars. All morning I was debating if I should go because I was by myself, it was out of my way before going home, and the rain was coming down.Let me say, I'm so glad I went. I was by myself, and it was a rainy and foggy day in the Valley. The views were stunning, and I really savored my time tasting the wines and chatting with Rakhi. I loved the variety of wines offered, and got to try two that weren't a part of the tasting menu. I also found the tasting fee of $15 to be really high value. I ended up buying 3 bottles so the fee was waived, and to my surprise I joined the the club - my very first! Thank you to the Handley team, and Rakhi, for an excellent experience!
You can taste some fine wines and charge your car at the same time. Win/win
I’m giving this 4 stars because I know they can be a 5 if the service was better. The first time my husband and I went, the tasting room manager was attentive and full of stories about the vineyard and wine. He offered ones off the tasting menu and really made us feel like a part of the story. Since then (2019), the service has been mediocre at best which is really unfortunate because the wine is spectacular. To us, the relational component makes a difference in what we buy.
I have to brag about the people who work here. It has nothing to do with the wine but everything about thier customer service. My work truck had broken down and they went above and beyond to help me get up and running again. Very nice people. Thank you!!!
What a fantastic spot! The wine was pretty good, but honestly, it was the views and overall experience that blew me away! The staff are quite friendly and knowledgeable about the wines that they sell. Highly recommend! FYI: they do not sell food/snacks, so come prepared!
