The winemaker served us 5 wines for $25. He gave us fresh popcorn to go with our wines. There were 3 Pinot Noir wines, all good plus a decent Zinfandel. Usually make notes but there wasn't a list provided. A bit pricey. Overall there was a good atmosphere, but would like to see more incentive to sell us a bottle or 2!
Stopped by. Front had a lot of dirty glasses on bar. Not prepared to serve wine and yet ready to charge 25 per person for tasting. Wines not memorable.
I love this place, don’t let outside of their tasting room fool you, it’s not big or fancy like many Wineries, but their wines are the best in the Valley and there are a lot of good ones in the area, this is a must a stop for us every time we are in the area, it should be at the top of your list too.
I love the casual and friendly ambience of Witching Stick Wines tasting room, where we got to taste deliciously interesting wines. My favorites are Pinot Noir and Zinfandel, although I love them all! So happy I joined the wine club.
Have visited Van and his place 3 times and every time LOVE the wines. A great tasting experience as well since the owner (Van) is there to take you through his wines.
Second Winery that is open but when we arrived it was closed. Lost business.

best pinot noir, hard to pick a favourite! syrah was also tasting the day we popped in and we should have bought it as well. don't miss the anderson valley and witching stick if you're visiting the region
Fantastic winery. Tried several harvests of a good pinot noir, plus a great zinfandel rosé, an interesting chardonne and an amazing house sweet wine. Fab staff. One of the best experiences on the west coast in North America
Some of the best pinots in the Anderson Valley and some of the nicest people to get good info on local wines. You've gotta stop here for a taste, you won't regret it!

My favorite of the five or six tasting rooms I've been to in Anderson Valley. One great thing about it is that though it has the solid Pinot Noirs you'd expect from the area, it also has other wines like Zinfandel. The 2013 Zinfandel was actually my favorite, and one of the best Zins I've had—bold, with almost port-like characteristics
The Zinfandel is awesome.
