There is a lot to be said about a real professional restaurant. Service was impeccable (they have a real maitre 'd).The food rivaled the service for excellence. The Steaks melt in your mouth, and the sauces are well executed. They don't rush you and know how to pace a meal. A great southern california institution of eating. It's worth the price, about as good as it gets!

I have know Kevin and Lorin since 1988.
The restaurant is kin to old Hollywood steak house vibes. I learned of this restaurant when I was barely 19 yrs.old. I was given a New Years gift certificate from My friends Lois and Ben , and Brad.After my first taste of the Filets au piove,I was hooked for life! The old school racing vibe was unbeatable. The food is great as is the service. You can't go wrong coming here. It's really got a lot of that old world Noir charm. If I saw a guy wearing a suit with a fedora he would not be out of place. Christmas time is also a great time to visit. They have very nice decorations and it's homey. Make sure to get a dirty martin!i at the bar. Excellent
