Los Amores de Julia

We came to see if Los Amores de Julia was really as good as they say, It sure was. The food is really good, the tortillas are handmade. The guacamole is fresh, and it's served with chicharon. The drinks are very refreshing and have a good amount of liquor. The mariachis are fun to hea, but if you want to talk it's definitely not the time. The servers are great and very friendly. I tried to make a reservation but I couldn't get through, when we arrived we only waited 5 minutes. Definitely go early. Wonderful place will be back soon.

Dessert was soo good we pretty much tried all the flans they had since we were a big party!
It was 24 of us and the service was amazing! For being our first time.
It was for my nieces 19th birthday and we had so much fun. Such a vibe! Totally recommend this place. It is pricey but so worth it!

We had a big group and they charges 20 percent gratuity alreadly without saying. They also charged thirty dollars to the credit card after we left. They try to take our money. Be cautious of this resturant.

First time here in LA and found this restaurant on TikTok and let me tell you … best experience and the music is great ! Food is great and the margaritas as well . I will definitely come back to this restaurant . Great service and overall had a amazing experience.

We were denied regular seating on account of my disability. The host repeatedly told us that they could only serve us outside. It was a cold, windy rainy day. We were all women over the age of 68.

So the food it’s not meets the standards of restaurant. I orders sopes they were like smaller than my pawn and came so plane I was like ok they probably good. NO THEY like that ever l. And no rice no beens no salad . For 25 buck. Then a I feel the sell experience not food.

I had a table on 3-15-2022 at 9pm. When I arrived, the host's wife told me that there were a lot of people and they gave me a table around 9:40 pm (to reserve)
The mariachi at full volume, the DJ at full volume playing Bad Bunny music as if it were a night club instead of a family restaurant.
Food without cutlery, drinks took a while.
I do not recommend this place for the first and last time I go.

Reserve a table on 03-15-2025 at 9 pm. And I waited 35 minutes for them to give me a table, because there were a lot of people, so what are the reservations for? The 2 women at the entrance are rude and serve poorly.
The faggot at full volume the DJ at full volume playing pure music from that bad bunny guy.
You can't even talk because of the noise of the music that seems like a night club instead of a family restaurant.

This place once you enter it is very promising. Great vibes, good services, and nicely decorated. The food sucks! My husband and I ordered a tomahawk. They put the bone with small slivers of chunks of fat with four pieces of meat. Where did they put the rest at? It was tender, well seasoned but what a scam on the cut and serving.
Would only recommend if wanting a delicious horchata.

I had a reservation at 9:00 at night and they made me wait 35 minutes to give me my table… I went to ask if my table was almost ready.
Table and the lady who was in front with a very bad attitude said that there were a lot of people and that I had to keep waiting I told her that then to make a reservation and only in a very rude way she said to wait 5 more minutes and of that 5 minutes that they told me became 15 😏 the drinks were good although they took a while to bring them cutlery we didn't have and I had to ask for them when the food arrived... they are very poorly organized and nothing to say about the food they are rich women 😋

It is a beautiful restaurant, excellent esthetic decoration, just the music is too loud, similarly like a nightclub, the food is good but too simple, the rest are awesome.

KARINA was our server. Right off the bat, she offers our party of 3 drinkers a shareable cantarito. We're thinking... cool... that sounds fun. We start exploring the menu and come to find out she offered our party a $250 whole asssss bottle to share. We then ask her if we can cancel. She tells us, no its already done. We take the loss but then come to find that it WASNT IN FACT "ready"... they make it table side. LIAR!!!!! Didnt even give us an opportunity to cancel but instead LIED that its ready. How do you sleep at night LIAR! The food was their only saving grace. Thank GOOODNESS it was good. To TOP it off, the gratuity was included for a party of 5! I wouldn't have even tipped her the minimum for pulling that fast one. Food - GREAT. The way this establishment does business- GARBAGE!!!!
