Sam’s Burgers in Pico Rivera is a local gem with a huge menu of Mexican and American favorites. I always go for the breakfast burrito, pastrami burger, and carnitas tacos—everything is fresh, hot, and packed with flavor. The portions are generous, the service is fast and friendly, and the place is always spotless. Highly recommend!
Food was lacking in taste. I havent been here in a minute, but the food is definitely missing the flavor from the Don Clemente era. The mojarra was only seasoned on one side. Rice was lacking in flavor and a lil dry. The menudo wasn't very flavorful, lacked spice, and minimal serving for a large and the price. Service was good. She was attentive and food was served in a timely manner. Ty Don Jorge, you know I love ya...but something was definitely amiss this time.
They charge for soft drink refills and EVERYONE knows that the biggest of soft drinks from a fountain costs less than 50 cents. Why do you think McDonald's charges a buck for any size? The seats and tables are not sitting level. They should put some money into it to make it comfortable. I ain't lying. Ask anyone who eats there.
