We love going to the Hoist House. It's a very "Im on vacation feel" even though we live 2 minutes away. All the employees are awesome, and the atmosphere is perfect. I highly recommend it!!

My mother, Juanita Dunston, attended Pine Grove School in 1945. She painted this rock from memory of what the school looked like then. She was pleased when we found your website and saw that you are keeping it what it originally looked like.

Great beer, wonderful outdoor patio in the trees, and great pizza on the side. Nice little afternoon with family.
Good stop for a beer. Beautiful location, great view out the back and plenty of seating. Rotating food vendors is nice as well. We got Tacos the day I was there and they were great. Beertenders were nice and conversational.
Nice place to stop by for a cold one. The beer is great with open seating in and outside.

5 dollar craft beers... in this economy? Count me in!! They have a bunch of seating but little parking. 9 dollar flights (4 pours of 5 oz each). They also do growler fills and have cans to go! The ice cream store next door (Munnerlyns) is also delicious. This bar also has nightly food truck service and they are listed on the website.

Clean, friendly and great tasting refreshing beer. The Coss Over Kitchen food tent next door was a wonderful addition to our drinks!
