while the food is really good there’s been 3-4 times we’ve came in and they close 30-45min early. today we tried coming in as a 5 top and we were denied as they were closing early once again. it’s a bummer as food is good and workers are nice but we probably won’t be back here again as it’s time to find a burger joint that stays consistent.

Kennedys Poineer Burger is absolutely scrumptious 😋 Like the burgers we got as kids. So it takes a few minutes to get your wonderful burger. All hand made with love. You can just tell. They make the patties as they go on the grill. So worth the wait. The wait really isn't very long. The people that run this place are so friendly and kind. This is a country place where life is simple you can make strangers into friends 🧡 I have nothing but great things to say about Kennedys Poineer Burger 🍔 Last and foremost I would like to thank the Kennedys for all the hard work they put into their customers and making at home 🏡 😀 😄

EDIT: Owner, please don't' reduce the mushrooms, ever! I just meant we would prefer it to already to come with something to break up the texture like how classic burgers are better with the crunch of lettuce and tomatoes. Thanks for letting us know it's easy to modify. See you soon!
-- Made the mistake of going to Mountain Ridge Club up Hwy 26 and immediately made plans to stop at this place on our way out. This place looks like nothing and we passed it many times; surprise, it's delicious! It was so good, we got second ones when we left to reheat at home. Tried the mushroom sandwich for something different and it was great, but was a little bit too much all the same if that makes sense. It needed something more like produce or something. I'm sure you could pay more, but it'd be nice to have it already.

Really great food but such a long wait unfortunately. The atmosphere was also a bit off, lots of rude people with staring problems and toddlers running around. Workers were kind but the wait again was about 30-40 minutes for a few burgers. Wasn’t very busy either, just about 6 groups of 2 people. Not sure what was going on in the kitchen👍

Great burgers! Mushroom Swiss was fabulous! Customer service awesome..created us as we entered the establishment. Definitely will be going to this place more often!!!
We were on our way home from a hunting trip. The first place we saw in the mountains was pioneer burgers. From A to Z, as soon as we walked into the restaurant, we were great very pleasantly. We witnessed the young lady behind the counter hosting between working in the kitchen and the front desk. She kept a very positive attitude the whole time, considering how busy they were. The food was AWESOME! I ordered a cheese burger and French fries. The burger was huge, and the patty was big as well. You can tell the meat was fresh and it wasn't the frozen patties. Veggies in the burger were very from. One may assume he had a garden in the back. Lol. The French fries were plenty. You definitely aren't walking away hungry. The price was very fair. For 2, it was just over $30. This is definitely my go-to when I hit the hills. Again.
