Been here twice now, and both times the crust was just perfect. Not too thick, not too thin, cooked to a nice crisp. They don't skimp on toppings at all and the staff is very small town friendly the way you would expect. Extra points for a solid beer selection on tap.
The pizza here is delicious! I love the BBQ chicken and the all meat pizza, you can't go wrong with either, or anything on the menus for that matter. The salads are fresh, wings are hot and saucy. Service is fast and friendly. The girl that is usually at the counter is helpful and kind if you don't know what to get. Best pizza on the mountain. I always order thin crust with pepperochini bacon and pepperoni. They have a kern county brewery on tap I highly recommend ZUES is 9.5 abv and smooth for a double IPA. Also has take and bake. Definitely perfect for your first night getting into town.
