Place is old but always clean. Hardly ever a wait service is fast and friendly. Food is amazing my gf loves the mac salad. Loco moco ( one of my favorites) is so delicious. We go at least 3 times a month.
This place is delicious! No frills doesn’t mean jeopardizing flavor and quality here. The macaroni salad is very good. The rice is nice and fresh - not dried out like some places that serve rice all day. The chicken katsu is delicious, tender, and crispy. Their sauces are good too. The service is polite, professional, and kind. Clean and sanitary restaurant. Thank you guys for your hard work and good food! I’ll def be going here again and bringing people!

I've tried many Hawaiian places, but none compare. Their chicken katsu is my absolute favorite - crispy, flavorful, and always fresh. The staff is incredibly friendly too.
Even though I don't live in Pinole, I'll gladly make the drive for their amazing food. It's always worth it!
