Atmosphere was great. Just heads about the place and stopped by. Service was wonderful. We got the tri tip sandwich and catfish sandwich, both were very good. Hope to go back for a show some day.

Go for the atmosphere, don't go for the bbq. Average at best. Ceasar salad was awesome.

Support local businesses who support independent + local musical artists like Pappy & Harriet’s. Got to see Tennis’ farewell tour. Elena n Pat have taught me tennis is #morethanasport . The Pappy baking crew threw down in the oven w/ their mac n cheese + The Harriet grilling squad were charring glizzys righteously. We got to watch our favorite band against a sunset of stars and a skyline of storied rocks. Stay updated on upcoming events and visit this spot from near or far 🙂↔️

10/10 atmosphere, the perfect hang out spot in the desert. barbecue, drinks and live music. came to see Tennis, got there at doors open and got a $5 shot purchase with beer, a hot dog and mac + cheese before the show, YUM. an amazing show, very intimate atmosphere. parking was a dirt lot next door aka my favorite kind.

Great vibes for a show and the barbecue grill outside slaps.
Very welcoming to visitors. The service was top tier and scrumptious food. 10/10 recommend

Love the service. The crew work hard and are courteous.
The drive from Yucca Valley is a treat (through a lovely rocky canyon). The actual setting is great. It can get busy, so a stroll down the strip is fun while you wait or if you want to burn-off your meal.
The atmosphere is fine if you are 16, or here earlier in the day. Otherwise it's loud, and very reflective. No doubt the current owners of P&H think loud will mean 'jumping and energetic', but those of us who aren't so youthful get a bit tired of having to shout to be heard by the other members of our party.
Then you have the bands playing inside doing their soundchecks at very high volume from about 6pm. And many of them are rock or punk, so you really wanna bring your earplugs. Levels well exceed 96 dB in there during sound checks. You might luck out a bit if it's a folk band.
Outside seating is sometimes an option, so long as it's not already full, very hot, or/and windy. No-one wants sand crunch in their burger.
Food items - it's very subjective of course. That being said, the portions are not ideal for those with hearty appetites. Best to be prepared to order a starter and desert if you want more than a snack.
Also, the reason many people are going veggie or vegan is for health reasons, and to serve an Impossible Burger is a bit of a slap in the face for those who want a more filling, healthy veggie meal given what ingredients are found in those things.
Booze selection will satisfy most people. Plenty to pick from.

Came up here early for the Japanese Breakfast concert. I was welcomed in warmly by the lady at the front. Emma was my server and was nice. The guy who brought me water was great! He kept the water coming! I had the tri-tip sandwich and vegetarian chili for an appetizer. The food was ok, but the tri-tip wasn’t hot. I didn’t say anything because I was so hungry I ate it quickly! Anyways, overall, I would still recommend it. Oh yeah, Curtis and the guy working Bar Back were awesome!

Very cool place with great food and drinks and a killer atmosphere. Both a restaurant and music venue. While the concert going on outside was packed and lively, it did not affect the service inside. Would definitely go back and would love to attend one of the concerts next time.

Epic landmark saloon and eatery in Pioneertown near Joshua Tree, now run by The Knitting Factory. Great menu for hangry folks and music venue featuring notable musicians and a deep history. Nice staff, good service and a location that was once a Hollywood western set back in the day. Look forward to going there again, great getaway.

Awesome large bar, restaurant and music venue. Ordered the cowboy combo and the tri-tip was pleasantly good.

This place was highly recommended to us by a few people, so we started with a “high bar”… and sadly, it failed to meet those expectations.
The people were nice and the beer was cold, so that was a good start. The chili cheese dog was excellent, as were the fries. The half rack of ribs were quite dry — maybe they were sitting around too long — and the coleslaw was just bland — no zing.
Kudos to the staff as they very nicely removed the ribs from our check.
