It was our first time into Del's a week or so before the 4th of July and the restaurant was understandably busy. We waited roughly 15 minutes or so which in our eyes was nothing for the incredible food they served us. Our waiter was extremely apologetic about the wait and didn't charge us for our appetizer or our drinks! Though we totally didn't mind the wait, we appreciated that generosity and the standard he held for himself and the restaurant! Will definitely be back.

Absolutely the best pizza and lasagna we have eaten in years. Noah was attentive and an excellent server. Watch out for the âadd on prices thoughâ. $3 for jalapeñoâs and $3 for meatballs on my small pizza. A little loud but kid friendly. We will return for sure.

I ordered food to go. If you were thinking of trying the calzone go for it you wonât regret it. Best calzone Iâve had in my life. It was huge, great texture, dough was made perfectly and it had a lot of meat inside. This dish can be shared between two people. My wife and I loved it and their marinara sauce is great as well. Iâll definitely be back to try their pizzas. We also got the antipasto salad and that was was ok 7/10 but decent.

I always stop by Dan's pizzeria when I'm in the Pismo area their food is absolutely delicious and the employees are very helpful and always go above and beyond to make you happy you should definitely try the regular pepperoni pizza it is by far one of the best I've had in the whole country and I promise that is not an understatement I have literally been to hundreds and this simple Pizza is absolutely one of the best.
We came here for dinner to celebrate my brothers birthday. Everyone was very friendly and attentive. Dinner was absolutely delicious. Food came out nice and hot! The bread rolls were amazing too! We came her for the spaghetti since itâs my brothers favorite food. He loved the spaghetti so much. He says it was the best! My brother has special needs so sometimes can be shy when thereâs a lot of people around. Everyone was so welcoming and supportive. All the staff sang happy birthday and even gave him a dessert on the house! It was a very kind gesture. We highly recommend Dels. We will definitely be back! Thank you for your awesome service and making my brothers birthday special.

Cool pismo staple excellent meatballs, and the pizza crust is so good.
My vegan friend recommended we tried this place. They offer vegan cheese on any of their pizzas. We ordered the farmers market pizza of course, which has all the veggies. This is the type of place that puts big chunks of veggies on the pizza, not thin slices, so it just depends on if you like that or not. Overall okay-tasting vegan cheese, it was very melty, but the best part was the pizza dough (if you like a lot of crust, which I do!) and the veggie toppings were good. And the pizza dough has no egg or dairy in it, confirmed by the server.
Another vegan pizza option would be the "pizza margherita" which just has tomatoes, basil, and olive oil. Or you could simply create your own pizza and add whatever veggie toppings you want. Any of the other pre-made pizzas on the menu would need all of the meat items removed, so might as well just create your own.
They serve bread rolls at the beginning of the meal with cups of butter, so make sure to request while ordering your meal that all items are vegan. The server mentioned they do typically brush the tops of the rolls with a margarine/ butter spread. But the bread rolls themselves are egg and dairy-free. And the server mentioned if requested to not have any butter on the bread rolls, they do cook it in a separate oven.
The kiddo got a kids cheese pizza with vegan cheese. It was the same size as our small pizza that my husband and I split. Definitely a nice smaller meal for two adults to split the small size, but if you're hungrier, I would get a medium size to split between two people.
We didn't try any of the pastas or salads because we wanted just a pizza on our first visit, but I'm guessing there are few pasta and salad options that could easily be made vegan. Overall, this place doesn't seem to cater to vegan options, but honestly I'm just glad that they have vegan cheese! A huge plus at a pizza place! Definitely worth a visit if you're craving pizza and don't want to make it at home. We would go back.
