The place is very good, servers are attentive, security is not overbearing, but very aware. Overall a pleasant environment. My beef is with a karaoke host named Rachel. She is a pretty good singer, but when a patron outshined her and won the crowd with a super performance, she called her a "show off" and skipped her in the next rotation. Harry's is a popular bar with tourists and locals alike. Great location in the thick of downtown though parking can be a challenge since Pismo Beach is a popular destination. Fun Halloween party last night with the staff and guests decked out. They have excellent security there which may seem over the top but keeping everyone safe is a welcome priority in my book. The live music gets most people on the dance floor and having a good time. The drinks are ok too. I won't pay a cover charge unless I know there is something special to experience inside so the 10 dollar cover was a turn off but I just took a walk and came back around and they stopped charging at the door. Although the band was good with a lot of energy and talent. I was impressed.
