Drove 30 minutes to come here only to find out they are closed on Tuesdays. Google hours says open Tuesdays. UPDATE YOUR HOURS.

Atmosphere relaxing with cute gift items available for purchase. Unfortunately, our meals were pretty mediocre and we were sadly disappointed. My daughter and I had the brioche French toast. She found egg shells in her scrambled eggs which were dry. I found a slice of onion hiding in my French toast which was more like regular toast than brioche.

Super charming spot! For me it was a must stop because I start off my days with a green smoothie, and the Honeymoon Cafe has a great smoothie menu (and are willing to make custom orders, which is what I typically want). Madison was the sweet young lady who took my order, and she is quite the artist as well and has very cute postcards of the Honeymoon Cafe that are for sale. Whether you are on your honeymoon or not, this spot is full of love 👍👍🥰

I ordered a burrito and was really disappointed. The burrito had absolutely no seasoning — no salt, no pepper, nothing. It was completely bland. We even called to check, and they insisted it was seasoned, but there was clearly none at all. Really unfortunate experience, especially since we were looking forward to a good meal. Definitely expected better quality and honesty.

Super cute place, and their food and smoothies are great! Their drinks need some work, hence the 4 stars instead of 5. The matcha was very clumpy and definitely not whisked beforehand (or not enough). The iced coffee was very watery and had a lot of sweetener, probably to make up for bitterness. They definitely need someone to work on their coffee and make sure their shorts are solid every morning before they start serving and their coffee would be great improved!

Still great, go here and get a meal and or smoothie, just skip the drinks!

Outdoor seating, order at the counter. Right on the main Street in Pismo.

Food was okay. Potatoes were kinda dry. Given the choice, I would probably try other places next.

Wife and I used to come to Honeymoon often and we loved it. But it seems that something has changed more recently. We've tried it a couple of times in the last year or so, trying to give the place we loved another shot, and they keep letting us down.

The first issue we had was when we ordered french toast. I was served way overcooked scrambled eggs and one of my slices of french toast was from the heel of the bread loaf. Is this the type of standards this place has?

We didn't return for a while due to this visit but gave Honeymoon another chance the other day. We both ordered the french toast once again. The cashier assumed we wanted scrambled eggs and didn't bother asking if that's what we wanted. My wife had to correct the order. Coffee was served with no cream and we had to make an effort to get someone's attention so we could get some creamer from the carton as there was none out for customers. We got our food and it was mostly better than last time, except that my wife's bacon was overcooked to the point of being inedible. Beyond crispy. On the verge of burnt. And on top of that, they didn't give us syrup with our french toast. Yet again, another thing we had to make an effort for to get their attention and ask for syrup. And these people ask for tips upon ordering? For what exactly?

It's embarrassing what they try to serve here sometimes. I looked over at another table and saw them try to serve pancakes to a lady who rejected them because they were burnt. They looked black. Is there any quality control at this place? Did they seriously think no one would notice burnt and black pancakes on their plate? Laughable.

We're frustrated because it used to be great. Not anymore. I'm surprised they still have a full house with the level of service and inconsistent food. Pay attention to the details. Quality is all over the place.

Stopped at Honeymoon Café twice during our trip to Pismo and was so impressed both times! The food was incredibly fresh, clean, and full of flavor. I'm always on the lookout for organic, high-quality options when traveling and this spot delivered. You can really taste the difference in the ingredients. Highly recommend if you’re looking for something wholesome and delicious. (Photo for reference—SO good!)

The coffee they gave us was way too hot, burning the lid of my mouth and tongue. My partner ordered the quiche and it was cold and wet. The shop itself is cute.

Food was pretty good, and the service was great. They had gluten free options and a great outdoor seating area where we ate with our dog.
