My girlfriend and I have come once before and on our second visit, the owner recognized us!! Super cute environment and the owner is so nice and always goes above and beyond with suggestions. The food is AMAZING! Definitely a summer staple for us :) it’s 100% worth the 30 minute drive!Dietary restrictions: With my grilled cheese, I got a vegan tomato dip!

One of the best damn things I've ever eaten! Amazing, tasty sandwiches. The Roast Beast and Gobbler On Fire are highly recommended. Breads are baked on site, and customer service is great.

You know it's good when you can eat a fresh bun by itself, and it's still absolutely delicious! Pricey but worth it!

The best sourdough I've ever had! I live in north county but, any time I'm in or near Pismo I stop and grab a fresh loaf from House of the Rising Bread !! The guy that bakes all this goodness is such a nice man, super friendly, and the vibe in his little place feels really good . Haven't had a chance to try any of the sandwiches they prepare there but, I'm sure they're amazing with that delicious bread . Check it out and support this sweet business.

If you are a foodie, then you should certainly check out this place! Bobbie is great! I found out about this sandwich/bread shop and am so glad I did! It is one of those LOCAL treats that you may pass by if you did not look for it, I know I did until I heard about it!What a treat! First of all the BREAD YUUUUUUUMMM! Second of all the Sandwich I tried was so amazing! It was the Gobbler on Fire!I asked Bobbie to not put too much of the spice on it and also had him go light on the pickled red onions (I almost had no pickled red onions, however that would have been a mistake, glad I did have them) and the sandwich was AWESOME! So much flavor and Bobbie makes all the bread and also the bacon jam! There is not any inside seating so just be aware which is the reason for the 4 I gave for atmosphere. This was the only thing for me that could be a potential improvement.I will be honest, I thought I could make this at home and even bought some Bacon jam and am not even CLOSE.A day before I went to a DIFFERENT sandwich shop in the same town. That shop charged more and I actually threw that sandwich away because it had no flavor. Rising Buns put them to shame!!!If you want an amazing sandwich that offers a good portion size, lots of flavor and is FRESH, this is a great place to check out!I know I will be back!

Came here for lunch and I was very impressed with the creative sandwiches offered. All of the ingredients are in concert with each other to create a delicious sandwich. The fresh homemade bread really made the sandwich sing! I will definitely be back.

I love the sandwiches here but it feels like my boy only bakes one loaf of bread for the day. I’ve come around 12 pm for the past 3 days and they’ve been sold out every day.

The owner Bobby is a true class act. He's very personable and genuinely cares about giving his customers quality food and service. He makes everything from scratch, and I mean EVERYTHING! It starts with the bread obviously, but he also smokes his own meats, ferments his own hot sauce and makes homemade tomato soup (which is fantastic).I am a Pismo local and I really appreciate a good restaurant as they are few and far between in this area. This place will be your new favorite hole in the wall!
