If this place had good food there would be no reason to leave the campground. It's been horrible for at least 10 years.

I had a very disappointing experience at Pismo Coast Village Grill and unfortunately won’t be returning.
From the start, the service felt disorganized. Abba appeared to be wandering around the dining area seeming unsure of where to be or what needed attention, which didn’t inspire much confidence. It gave the impression that there wasn’t clear direction or coordination among the staff.
Tracey, while likely meaning well, was constantly stopping by the table to check in — far more than necessary. Instead of feeling attentive, it became disruptive to the meal. Every few minutes there was another interruption, which made it hard to relax and enjoy our food or conversation.
Overall, the atmosphere felt chaotic rather than welcoming, and the experience just didn’t live up to expectations. With better organization and a more balanced approach to service, it could improve — but as it stands, it was a one-star visit for me.

Food is blah, waitress and waiter touches everything including dirty plates and silverware then opens and checks the to go boxes right after without washing their hands.

I ordered pulled pork which turn out to be coarsely ground hamburger with some bbq sauce, the fries were less than Luke warm. Just by luck I presume there was one strand of a red onion. I requested a refill of water 2x. Then asked for water when the wait staff didn’t return! By the way there weren’t very many people there now I know why.

The restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. The hostess/server was kind and helpful. We’ve eaten here several times in the past and the food was great and the lines were long. They would grill on the outside fire pit and the ribs were really tasty.
Unfortunately, on this visit, the food was terrible! We ordered the baby back ribs and they didn’t use the outside fire pit and the restaurant was empty. That should have been my first clue. This time the ribs appeared to have been frozen, then thawed out and heated with bbq sauce poured over them. Totally tasteless! We have eaten ribs at many rib joints and this is probably the worst. The side dishes weren’t anything to brag about either. $20.00 bucks a plate….Not worth it in my opinion. Don’t waste your money!
